Great location within walking distance of Metro and many attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Happy hour with an elegant bar and luxurious lobby. Elevators go to upper floors and to the lovely breakfast room with a full choice of items, including sparkling wine. Room was comfortable and spacious and quiet.

We stayed at the River Palace for two nights. The hotel is well located; a few minute walk from the Piazza del Popolo and a pleasant 20-30 minute walk to all the major attractions. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. They were also very helpful in recommending dining options and assisting with making reservations. Our room was quite small, but... More

This is a beautiful little hotel with top notch service. My only complaint and it is a small one, was that the bed was too hard. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast is amazing and even more amazing was the service you get at the free breakfast! The porters and front desk people were so kind and helpful.... More

Recently we spent two days in Rome before leaving on a cruise. My wife booked our two nights here at River Palace in Feb. 2015 through Expedia. They took our reservation along with our payment. We arrived on May 19 around noontime and told that they were sorry they had overbooked and they had no rooms available. How could that... More

From the moment you walk through the door, you are greeted by genuinely attentive staff. Valentina , didn't just hand us a room key. She spent 10 minutes explaining where we were , pointing out all the local points of interest. This kind of service continued throughout our stay. By far the most friendliest hotel we've ever stayed. Spotlessly clean... More

My hubby and I stayed here for a 4 night break. Room was beautiful but very small and not much of a view, I think we were over looking a private courtyard. Nice bar and good breakfast. Reception staff very helpful offering us info on places to visit and best way of getting there.

We booked 3 Deluxe Double Room for Single Use for 4 nights. The rooms were comfortable and clean. I thought they were small, but compared to some I've seen, a decent size. The decor was plain, if that's something that concerns you. Two of our rooms had steps leading from the room entrance to than main part of the room.... More

Staying in Parioli

Neighborhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavor of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
