Hotel located steps from Piazza del Popolo. It is well located and there is a metro in the corner. It 's 5 minutes walk from Spanish Steps and 2 minutes from Via del Corso. The staff is great, always trying to help you and the provide great customer service. In the bar there is a Happy Hour from 5 to... More

Lovely hotel. We stayed at the beginning and end of our trip to Italy. The standard room bath is tiny, but we upgraded to the next level, and it was fine. My only complaint was the lack of light in the bathroom. The staff was quite helpful and eager to please. The lobby/bar was lovely in the evening for a... More

I stayed here for three nights. I had booked a standard small room but upon check in they showed me a large room which I upgraded to for a modest additional charge. The rooms are not overly large, that's typical for Europe. Everything was clean, beds comfortable, separate walk-in type shower pods, the wifi and TV worked well, the TV... More

We carefully chose this hotel because it looked typically Italian and seemed in a good location, a little bit away from the main attractions of Rome. The hotel was as good as we had hoped, with welcoming staff and lovely decor throughout. We were shown our room and an upgrade but decided that as we would be out sightseeing all... More

We liked the more out of the center of Rome location. It is just north of the Piazza del Papolo but easy walking distance to many attractions - or a simple bus trip away. It is closer to the Borghese Gardens and Gallery and the Vatican. Good sized room and bathroom, nice lobby with a good cocktail/snack offering. The breakfast... More

The service here is exceptional. The hotel is in a great location yet off the beaten path just enough to be quiet. Our room #603 could not had been better - it was at the end of the hall away from foot traffic which is my favorite! The bed was very firm yet comfortable. The room had a bathtub! It... More

Great hotel in a great location next to piazza del popolo and villa Borghese gardens and gallery. We upgraded our room to the villa Borghese suite for a reasonable fee and couldn't have been happier with it. The room came with separate seating area, large bathroom with a Jacuzzi and the best part was the large rooftop terrace with views... More

This was our first time in Rome and this hotel definitely added to our stay. It's location is within easy walking distance of all the main tourist attractions and is 100m away from the Metro if you don't fancy the walk. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated throughout with the rooms containing all the facilities you would require (the minibar... More

This is a great hotel in a great location. Easy access to many of the sights but in a quiet area. Rooms were small, but typical for a boutique hotel in a large city. Overall I would say this is an outstanding hotel.

This is the second time that we've stayed at The River Palace while in Rome for the rugby 6 Nations. Its in a great location, just across the road from Piazza Popollo. While at the same time being within reasonable walking distance of Studio Olympics (about 2 miles I think). In fact most things are within walking distance. Breakfast is... More
