We stayed for one night and Rebecca was at the front desk and she was amazing. She provided great information and was able to make us reservations at a nearby wonderful restaurant. We loved the location and happy hour was great.

We chose this hotel based on the large number of positive reviews, and were not disappointed. The hotel is in an excellent location, some 100m from the Piazza Dei Popollo and the Via Dei Corso, and within 20/25 mins walk to the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon, and 45 mins of the forum and coliseum. We booked the hotel taxi transfer... More

I have never written a review before but after staying in this hotel I felt compelled to do so. This is a beautiful hotel in an excellent location but what makes this hotel exceptional is the staff. I have stayed in lots of 5* hotels in many countries but the staff here are amazing; they go above and beyond their... More

My husband and I stayed in this wonderful hotel for three nights before a cruise. Our airport transfer went awry and we were cheated by a cab driver. Though the hotel had no connection with the transfer service, the kind clerk spent time on the phone to attempt in assisting us in getting our money back. He was unsuccessful, but... More

Small rooms. Only Italian TV channels except BBC news, etc. Rooms with bath did not have adequate shower attachment - although other rooms with showers were excellent. Very comfy beds. good air conditioning. Amazing breakfasts. Breakfast serving staff were the most lovely staff in while of Rome! Fantastic.

We booked this hotel for our honeymoon. Upon arrival, the hotel offered us an upgrade for a large suite on the 8th floor with a large private terrace. For only an extra EUR30 a night, we couldn't pass up the opportunity. The views were amazing overlooking the park, the North Gate, the Piazza del Popolo and everything beyond it. They... More

We stayed two nights here and the only quibble I have is the really small rms. However, we knew that going in and the rest of the place - location, staff, decor, charm, 4 hr happy hr with heavy snacks, and comfortable bed, made up for it. Sergio at the front desk, Harold at the bar, and the fun of... More

We arrived early expecting to have to wait for our room. We had a drink in the bar and one of the receptionists joined us with maps and showed were all the main attractions were and how best to visit them. We were then shown to our room which was lovely. The hotel is in walking distance of most of... More

River Palace is only a few steps from the Piazza Popolo and public transportation. Our room was very nice, clean and well equipped with large windows on a central court (no road noise). The included breakfast offered a wide variety of foods and beverages which was available early enough for travellers heading to the airport.

Staying in Parioli

Neighborhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavor of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
