We were in Europe for my son's wedding and had to include a trip to Rome. I used tripadvisor in my search for a hotel and was not disappointed. The hotel's location near the Colosseum in a quiet neighborhood of Rome was perfect for a first time visitor. It is a boutique hotel, expertly furnished, in a neighborhood that had... More

Having been to Rome many times this was my first at Capo d'Africa and it was great! The location to the Coliseum, Forum and Palatine Hill area is perfect. The hotel staff is wonderful and the morning breakfast is fresh and the service is great. There are some great restaurants around the hotel and a fantastic little gelatto place right... More

We came back from our first trip to Rome recently and thought that we should share this gem of a hotel with you. The trip was to celebrate my birthday and this hotel certainly added to the joy of the occasion. The hotel is close to the Colosseum and therefore much that ancient Rome has to offer. The hotel is... When we were here several years ago, we vowed to stay again if we should return to Rome. And so glad we did. The location of the hotel is excellent. Close to the Colisseum and the Forum as well as the Metro, but in a wonderful quiet residental area with plenty of simple restaurants and pizzerias. Staff are so helpful... More

We enjoying staying in this hotel. One of the major assets is their front desk staff. They went out of their way to help with any request. It was close enough to the Metro, so it was easy to get to all the major sites. We like clean, neat, tidy accomodations and they do that well. They also do not... More

We certainly chose the right hotel for my partner's birthday week! Location is as good as it gets, wonderful terrace for breakfast - in glorious March sunshine - comfortable rooms, and extremely helpful staff. What more do you want?

I booked this hotel after seeing the reviews on tripadvisor. The hotel is very nice, looks like a private mansion. The room was neat, quiet and functional. A complimentary bottle of sparkling wine was waiting for us over ice, which is a very nice attention. The bathroom is small but clean. I missed a coffee machine or at least a... More

We stayed here for our first anniversary weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I had told the hotel in advance that it was our anniversary and we got a bottle of proseco sent to our room from the management on arrival stating have a great anniversary. The breakfast choices were great and varied each day. The location is virtually... More

This hotel is named after its side street very close to the Colosseum and the Roman Forum and Palatine. It is handy for the Colloseo Metro station and convenient bus and tram routes across the city. A taxi rank is nearby. The hotel is elegant, stylish and the room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable... More

My Mother and I stayed for 4 nights at the Capo d'Africa after a lot of research on my part and helped by the great reviews on Trip Advisor...... we wasn't disappointed.
