We stayed there for 4 nights. It is near to the Colosseo and easy to find. When we came to the hotel we were asked to wait because there were 2 german women where checking in. The man on the reception was explaining and from what we understood did he try to suggest them to do sightseeing trips booked by... More

This is the second time we stayed at this hotel. The rooms are Eurpoean but comfortable. The beds offer a good sleep and the rod are quiet. If you are a TV watcher, I hope you speak Italian because the few channels they offer are all Italian language. It's ok, you're on vacation, who needs TV? Breakfast (included) is on... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the Capo. We were there for 2 nights, the location was perfect for us, walking distance to the Colosseum and the Forum. Lots of great restaurants also nearby and a short walk to the Street Car and Metro stations. Room rate is inline with hotel quality, location and rates in general for Rome. Nice... More

Capo made both our stays in Rome a great all around experience. As a boutique hotel the size is perfect. Large enough to have all the amenities but small enough for great personal service. The room was a nice size and very comfortable. As there were three of us, we had a large bed plus a single bed but we... More

My husband and I stayed here for four nights in May/June and very much enjoyed our stay. I found the room to be very comfortable and pleasant. The mattress was very firm, so if you don't like a firm mattress then this hotel is not for you. The amenities were very good. However, they didn't put a box of tissue... More

We can recommend this hotel for anyone who enjoys excellent service, spotless accommodation, a quite location but close to a varied choice of restaurants, local bars and the bus and tram network. The rooftop terrace is perfect to relax and enjoy water service. Will will certainly return.

The Capo is a superior option for staying in the quiet neighborhoods near the Colosseum. Comfortable, clean, modern, well-equipped rooms, well-insulated against weather and sound. The staff is friendly and capable. The room price includes a filling breakfast with a wide assortment of breakfast foods, juices, vegetarian frittatas, and cooked meats, eggs, and potatoes.

It's proximity to the Colosseum makes it ideal for that part of Rome and all the tour buses stop by the Colosseum and there is a taxi rank at the end of the Via Capo d'africa. The Hotel itself is everything a tourist needs with friendly english speaking staff extremely clean and spacious rooms, excellent breakfast and good wifi once... More

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel on a sightseeing break at the beginning of June 2015. We found the location, facilities, room and staff to be of the highest order. The bed was large and comfortable. the room was nicely decorated and spotless. The breakfast was first class. The staff were attentive and helpful. The only small negative... More

Nice quality hotel in a quiet street if you're planning on visiting the coliseum and forum rather than the Vatican. Plus points: Lovely roof top terrace, very effective air-conditioning, marble bathrooms, free wi-fi (if you booked direct via website), nice breakfast, higher rooms are quiet, 10 minute walk to nearest Metro, offered taxi pick up and drop off from airport... Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
