We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights last week and really loved our stay. The hotel is situated a little out of the main centre of Rome in a quiet neighbourhood. The vicinity seemed ok to us but some of the streets were dimly lit and, as in any city, I preferred not to walk around late at night.... More

The hotel was friendly, quiet, attractive, and in great location for seeing the Colosseum. the Roman Forum and for walking to the Appian Way. Our teen son was a frequent user of the workout room and we all enjoyed the buffet breakfasts. We were within easy walking distance to the ancient ruins that were the focus of our trip. We... More

We stayed in this hotel in January 2015. It was second time in Rome for me, so this time I picked the location more carefully (first time went there I stayed in an hotel near piazza Bologna, that's a nice residential neighborhood but very far from city center). Location for Capo d'Africa was excellent, it's located only 2 blocks away... More

Smart and comfortable hotel, 30 minutes from the airport by taxi and only 10 minutes walk from the Forum, Colosseum and open top bus tour. Very friendly and helpful staff recommended two good restaurants nearby good girl meat, fish, pasta and helped us to organise guided tours. Nice bar area, lovely breakfast terrace. Our only niggle was that our room... More

This was my first time back in Rome in 20 years and I brought my 14 year old daughter. Rome can be an overwhelming place but the staff and location made us feel safe, comfortable and even pampered. Good wifi, which is crucial for a teenager, and breakfast was delicious.

We are traveling with Avventure Belissime. Very nice hotel. About a 10 min walk to Coloseum. We also walked to the forum, trevi fountain and Spanish steps. Hotel was very clean and quite. It felt like it was in a neighborhood. There are several restaurants in the area. One to me to miss are those that almost push the Americans... More

This is a relatively small hotel, but is excellent. It is located on a quiet side street near the Colosseum. Rooms are clean and quiet. Excellent breakfast which you can have on the rooftop overlooking Rome.

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
