Stayed here for three days 28-31 Jan. Plenty of bars & restaurants in the nearby streets just minutes away. Every day we seemed to discover more. It's at the end of a street, very quiet - at the other end of the street (three minutes) is the Colloseum! If you're looking for heaving bars overspilling into the streets and noise then... More

First of all my girlfriend & I arrived on the 22nd of January for a weekend away (for our 5 year anniversary). We arrived at the hotel during the dark (around 7pm) and was instantly impressed, the hotel looks gorgeous, our room was enormous (room 111) & we had everything available on arrival (toiletries etc...), we basically had nothing to... What a fabulous hotel. Very friendly helpful staff and excellent location for sightseeing and restaurants (hotels recommendations were superb and not expensive). This hotel represented great value for money and we can't wait to go back. Grazie

Great location close to the colosseum and forum. On arrival the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful giving us maps and booking tours of the Vatican and Colosseum which were excellent. The room was clean and loved sleeping with windows open although ear plugs were needed. The breakfast is excellent with eggs, bacon, fruit, yogurt and made to... More

Booked this hotel on the back of the reviews on TripAdvisor. We walked from the Termini station using a phone satnav - took us about 20 minutes (with a few wrong turns). The reception staff were very welcoming and we were given maps and local information. We had booked the deluxe double which was a bit more expensive but worth... More

The neighborhood has everything one coul hope for in terms of proximity to some of the major historical attractions. The coliseum is a couple of blocks away and the Forum is just beyond that. The small little restaurants proved to be the best. Hotel Capo d' Africa is surrounded by an eclectic variety of dining and nightlife options. The hotel... More

After a gap of 10 years,my wife and I returned to Rome to celebrate the anniversary of our engagement. Just as we did back then,we stayed in the Capo d'Africa hotel. We had high hopes after our last visit and we weren't disapponted this time around either. The hotel is in an ideal location, just 5 minutes walk from the... More

Our family spent our first Christmas away from home in Rome and we were fortunate enough to stay in the Hotel Capo d'Africa. We had an amazing stay in Rome and a lot of it was due to the wonderful staff and atmosphere of the hotel. All of the staff could not have been kinder, helpful, or more accommodating than... More

It was quite a surprise to find this impressive exterior in a quiet unassuming street. This hotel met our every requirement, quiet, comfortable, relaxing, excellent staff and a great location in the City, being within sight of the Colosseum. The reception staff were helpful in organising taxis, making suggestions on best routes to the sights and where to eat locally.

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
