The hotel is very well located. Near Coloseo and other treasures of the Rome. There are plenty of tavernas and restaurants around. Room is big, clean and bathroom as well. Staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast is good and plenty of choice. I recommend this hotel - I can say nothing wrong.

We were impressed with every aspect of the Capo D'Africa. It was a five minute walk to the Colosseum. The hotel was in a very quiet neighborhood. The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms well appointed. Service was second to none. The breakfast was excellent. They even made fresh squeezed OJ for us. I wouldn't hesitate to go back or... This hotel is very well located in Rome. You're within easy walking distance of the Colosseum and there are plenty of excellent restaurants nearby. We arrived later in the evening from Tuscany, and were starving. The concierge recommended a place nearby and it was very good. I had the largest serving of gnocchi and clams I've ever seen. We used... More

We chose this hotel because it was very well rated, and we were not sorry. Location is central, close to the Colloseum and the public transport, but sufficiently tuked away to be quiet. The breakfast was very good, served on a roof-top terrace with a very nice view, and the staff was wonderfull, very prompt, friendly and professional. We would... More

Very nice hotel with very helpful staff! Perfectly situated near The Colosseum and some authentic back street Italian Restaurants! Highly recommend enjoying a few cocktails while listening to the highly talented, romantic sounds of flute player, the one and only Rosario Fuga!!

A nice and welcoming place, quite close to Colosseum. Friendly staff, quiet and clean rooms and a nice lobby - all these things are fine but not spectacular. Our favourite part was the breakfast terrace with lemon trees... Lovely.

We had a wonderful stay at this small boutique hotel steps from the ancient city, the colosseum, and great night life/dinner options! The view from the happy hour balcony is breathtaking! Staff was so polite and helpful.

I selected Capo for a 4-night stay in Rome with my mother. We wanted something nice, centrally located and reasonably priced. I think I found it with Capo, however, I did not love this hotel by any means. It was absolutely adequate in every area. We reserved a room with two twin beds - the mattresses were very firm, so... My husband and I recently stayed at Capo D'Africa over the New Year holiday. As soon as we pulled up I knew we had found a gem. We have stayed at numerous hotels in Italy/Rome and most are old and damp, small elevators (if there is one) and staff not qualified to deal with tourists. We were very happy with... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
