The hotel is very nice and the services are very good, but it was a problem with the check in. I must have the room at 12.00 and they check me at 18.00 because Fiorentina's team was there and they don't have any room's available. It's a pleasure to stay 6 hours in lounge and waiting.

My husband and I booked into the Degli Aranci through Secret Escapes and Booking.com. it is situated in a quiet area about 2km from the main centre. We were given a first floor room which was lovely and quiet. The windows had wooden shutters on and the room was beautifully decorated. We had a Jacuzzi bath which was great after... More

Found this hotel on secret escapes and what a find. Got to the hotel slightly early and after walking up the 77 steps from the train station our rooms weren't quite ready but we got offered a free welcome drink while we waited. Rooms are lovely, with tiled walls, big mirrors and framed paintings. We were in what I think... More

It is a beautiful hotel in a good location. Breakfast it's amazing but on the first night we dined there and unfortunately we were not impressed. The food was served cold and it was overpriced for what we received.

Upon arrival, I was told the hotel was over-booked and I had to go to a different hotel for 2 evenings. While they arranged transportation, I wish they would notify me ahead of time. The hotel is in the Parioli district of Rome. It is considered a upper-class and trendy area by some Romans, and snobbish area by others. It... More

The plan was a long weekend to celebrate my partners birthday!! I could not have chosen a better hotel and base for our 5 day break. On arrival the welcome was warm and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and the team at the hotel did everything to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We spent each day exploring... More

Hotel is located in an upmarket suburb, Parioli, still within the compass of the river. Very safe area for evening walks, using public transport(bus, suburban train and tram) and chatting to local people. Several embassies are also located within the quite hilly vicinity(so perhaps not absolutely perfect for people with severe mobility issues). We paid a very reasonable £200 for... More

A sister hotel made us stay here for overbooking reasons and I winded up liking it more! It is a luxury hotel so expect everything to be nicer than other hotels in Italy. Bathroom was super clean and stocked with towels and shampoos and the sinks and shower was very technically advanced than other hotels. Room is very traditional and... More

The hotel is located on one of the hills of Rome in the Parioli quarter. Very close to Piazza Euclide from where you can take the train (1 stop) to the Piazza del Popolo. Rooms are clean, beds ok staff in the restaurant (both breakfast and dinner) are very friendly. WiFi for free.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel Sept 27-28. We had a beautiful and spacious downstairs room. We even stumbled upon a workout room with a spa. The upstairs was a pleasant room with couches, bar and restaurant. Breakfast was included and was a great way to start the day. The staf was pleasant and helpful with directions. The... More

Staying in Parioli

Neighborhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavor of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
