Great hotel close to train station in the heart of Rome. Free wifi and upgrade to a bigger room was most appreciated. Reception booked transfers for us and told us where all the good restaurants were. Very clean rooms and a good breakfast.

Arrived late at night into this lovely hotel in Rome. Very easily accessed by taxi or public transport. The hotel is literally a 2 minute walk from Roma Termini and the bus station. The staff on the front desk were always more then happy to show us directions and give us tips on where to visit/eat. One lady in particular... More

We were travelling through Europe by train so being so near the main train station was a big plus. Desk staff were helpful & our room was clean & well maintained, all in all a good place to stay at a good price. Lots of cafes & restaurants nearby as well.

It’s situated around the corner from the central station, so handy to bars and restos, and of course to the metro. We moved in here from the Yes across the road because the Yes (and most other hotels) put their prices up on weekends. Here at the Milani we paid a flat Euro 69 per day even on weekends. In... More

Milani Hotel is an adequate hotel in every way, there is nothing exceptional about it, breakfast is fine, staff are okay, rooms are small and basic , it is very central and the Colosseum is within walking distance, so this is obviously an advantage.

I arrived in Rome with no clue how to get around , the hotel receptionist kindly explained how the public transport works , gave us a map showing the major tourism attractions and even gave us a recommendation of where we could find a really nice pizza restaurant. Our room was clean , had a working air conditioner and was... More

We reached late. Like after midnight. But the duty Clark was really helpful. And the room was pretty much ok. The room service is good. And "Paolo" in lunch room was more then you can ask. Hotel management, never let him go. He would make us come back. And the WiFi was pretty good. Although didn't got how to adjust... More

I stayed at this hotel for one night only. The area around Termini station is not the best in Rome, but I decided to choose this hotel because I had an early flight and wanted to be within walking distance from the train to airport. I advise you to choose other Rome areas if you do not have a pressing... More

A block and half from main Termini station and convenience. There were plenty shops, restaurants, 2 big grocery stores at the train station, and a scatter of small convenience stores where we got beer, fruits, water at same/or cheaper price than the big grocery stores. There are also many nearby souvenir shops with cheaper price than in more touristy locations... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
