We stayed here for 3 days and I hated that our room never cooled down in the hot days of August. The bed was hard to my liking so I hated the actual room stay. The staff was the nicest and most helpful people. The breakfast was great and convenient for €10 👍 if you're a hot body I would... More

The hotel is located close to Termini train station which is excellent. Is an old property and we found some fungus at the shower. Still room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is 10 euros (overpriced). Staff is friendly but they can improve. A/C and window screened is a good feature, complementary sleepers and tooth brush is standard. Cons: Some ugly... More

By far the worst service i have ever come across at a hotel, we emailed the hotel to let them know we would be late as our flight was delayed, when we arrived at the hotel "fransesco" behind the desk told us because we where late that he sold our reservation for 3 nights and that we did not have... We stayed for 3 nights in August and the A/C worked just fine, as did the wifi in our room; however, we had an ant problem. Granted, we were bringing food to our room which may not be the smartest idea, but the tiny ants came out on the second day of our stay. They were no major bother and... More

Great staffs is something we look for in a hotel, which make you feel comfortable. Breakfast are quite good which might expected other hotel. The only thing is about the air-con, because the used ducted air-con when you needed a bit of cooler air you can't control that. But overall great hotel.

Just spent 4 good nights at the Hotel Milani. Pluses for this hotel include the short walk from Rome main rail station, taxis and bus shuttles to airport. The hotel is rated 3 star however we were pleasantly surprised with quality of the room, the lounge areas and the breakfast. The hotel is in a quiete street but close to... More

My stay at Milani was brief -one night, the 14th of July 2015. The staff member that greeted me was lovely - very kind, helpful. As a single female travelling alone, I had planned to take a train from Termini to meet a friend that evening. I was given very good and sound advice by the staff member at Milani... More

We stayed in Rome for 3 days at the Milani Hotel, yes it's a 3 star hotel, and it was very clean and located 1 block from the Termini. They have a a breakfast every morning for 10 euros, nothing special but it worked for us. Coffee machine with espresso, cappichino and a few other choices, juice, eggs, rolls, danishes etc..The AC... We stayed here for 3 nights. Had booked a room for 3, but they gave us two rooms instead which was great since the room was quite small. Very friendly staff and adequate room for what we needed. Only about a block from main train station so that was perfect. Seemed clean and service was good. Only downsides were that... More

The room was clean, and the afternoon staff were friendly and helpfull, the morning staff should be a toll booth operator on the desert, The " bed " was the hardest box spring with out a mattress, that I had ever slept on. A field cot was more comfortable, a folded blanket was thicker than the pillows we had, the... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
