Stayed here 10 years ago and it was delightful. Sad to say, its really slipped. The room was tired, dirty walls and floor, a hair dryer that didn't work and heating/air unit that had a mind of its own. On the plus side a good staff. Despite a great location, I wouldn't recommend. I think pride of ownership is gone.

We stayed in a mini suite at Daniel's Hotel in October 2015 for three nights and it turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. Whilst a small hotel it had excellent accommodation and helpful friendly staff. Special mention for Mario who was extremely helpful. The hotel is near the Spanish Steps and is within easy walking distance of most... More

perfect location in heart of shopping Rome and within walking distance of everything (nearly) Staff go out of their way to ensure your stay is perfect. Charming breakfast room on top floor with two resident seagulls tapping on the window in the hopes of a little breakfast too!

I have been here many times, and it just gets better and better. Daniel and his staff bend over backwards to help you out in anyway possible. And their buffet upstairs overlooking Rome can't be beat! Location is fabulous, and shopping on Via Condotti is just a few steps away!

We were in the junior suite, it was big and recommend. The hotel is small coasy and romantic. The breakfast is good and the view from the roof (where the breakfast is taking place) is nice. The location is right in the middle of everything (next to via del corso and the Spanish steps) and the recaption and house keeping... More

Daniel’s is a tiny boutique hotel with only 14 rooms and a handful of staff, tucked in the shopping district, a 5 minute walk away from the Spanish steps. Its single door frontage is so small that the taxi driver missed it first time round. Inside the hotel, connection to the rooms is via two tiny elevators (seemingly an afterthought... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
