My husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks in April. Located in the new hip area of Monti, the hotel is a 2 minute walk to the Colloseum and the Forum, and close to some good restaurants and gelato shops. The main train station (Roma Termini) is about a 12 minute walk, and if you are staying for a... More

I picked this hotel just in transit before and after a cruise from Civitavecchia. It was perfect for what i needed it for. Extremely close to the center of a lot of tourist attractions, less than 5 minutes walk to Colloseum, Roman Forum etc. close to hop on hop off bus stops lots of food and gelato places in the... Excellent small value for money hotel for a short stay in Rome conveniently located in a quiet street close to the Colosseum and other major attractions all within easy walking distance. Clean rooms, good breakfast and friendy helpful staff. Will have no problem staying here again.

We stayed here for three nights. The room was quite small and a bit old-fashioned/quite rundown. But, it was quiet and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and pleasant in their dealings. The location is absolutely amazing- the hotel is yards from the Coliseum and the Roman Forum (and near the Coliseum subway stop). Couldn't really be better location-wise.

We stayed here for 3 nights in early April. The weather outside was great (sunny and low 60s); however, the hotel had the heat blasting so that was quite uncomfortable since it blew directly on to the bed. The room and bathroom were definitely pretty small but it served its purpose. The hotel staff could have been more friendly but... More

We stayed in Rome recently and really enjoyed staying in this hotel! It was clean and had a very convenient location, while still off of the main road a bit. Everyone was very friendly and the breakfast was great!

Beautiful little hotel in an excellent location. The concierge was helpful. The bathroom was very spacious. Breakfast was delicious! I would highly recommend this hotel. It added to our stay in Rome and was the perfect way to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing.

We went to Rome so I could run the Rome Marathon on March 22. Our plane arrived early so we got the hotel about 10am. The woman at the front desk was great and got us right in to a room even though check in wasn't until 2pm. I wish I could remember her name because she was so nice... More

I booked and planned this trip several months in advance as was treating myself for my 40th birthday to somewhere I had always wanted to see. After much research I chose Hotel Fori Imperiali Cavalieri. I booked a single room on their website and claimed an offer of free breakfast, wifi for the duration of stay and a free mini... More

Staff are very friendly, free wi-fi, good breakfast. The location is the best thing about this hotel. It's right beside the Colosseum, metro station and loads of other sites. restaurants etc. The negatives - there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, cleaning staff were a little loud in the mornings (I'm probably nit-picking), and there were no English... Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt.
