Great little b&b in the middle of old and beautiful Trastevere. First of all the location was really good. It's sort of in the middle of everything and still the Trastevere area has really nice small old town feeling in it. It's easy to get around with tram and bus. And there are a lot of great restaurants. Place was... More

This hotel's location in Trastevere is great. The room we had was comfortable, especially the bed and pillows which were good quality. The shower was powerful. Breakfast was light but plentiful - fruit, yogurt and croissant. And Alessandra, Carolina and Carlo (owner and family) made us feel welcome and were so helpful. Alessandra really made our stay by giving hints... More

I had HUGE expectations about Trastevere Colors after reading all the reviews here. And after 6 days in the B&B, I can say: it's ALL TRUE. And all the amazing reviews are due to one person: Alessandra. She is the best hostess I've ever seen. She makes you feel like home every single day. Every morning, she serves the breakfast... More

Just come back from staying at Trastereve Colours with my mum, I would highly recommend it, Alessandra was so friendly and couldn't do enough for you and her knowledge of the city is amazing and her pointers were so useful, it made our stay more productive, I can't wait to go back and stay there again.

A friend and I stayed for four nights in April and had a very pleasant time. The rooms are simple, elegant, clean and well appointed (good powerful shower, free Internet access & television in the rooms etc). Alexandra is a fantastic host, multilingual (she moved from Italian to French to English as she spoke with her guests), extremely helpful with... More

To echo other reviewers, Trastevere Colors is a great find. We loved the location - convenient, but more a local neighborhood than a tourist area. Alessandra is a fabulous hostess, serving wonderful breakfasts and dispensing invaluable sightseeing recommendations. The room was comfortable and spotless. We would definitely return.

I have been there for a short weekend trip. The b&b is located in a very central area surrounded by typical trattoria, restaurants and bars. Walking distance from the main attractions but in the main time out from the chaotic touristic centre. The lady running the b&b is very helpful and more than happy to help guest with informations and... More

We stayed here in October after reading all the great reviews from other travelers. After booking online we received an email from the owners that there was a problem with the booking and they could only accommodate us for 1 of the 3 nights we had booked. We immediately became nervous that we were going to get ripped off but... More

It's all true! Hugely welcoming, informative and helpful hosts - even if they don't live on site. Rooms well-appointed, comfortable with nice touches like toiletries (shampoo, conditioner and shower gel) as well as tea/ coffee (with fresh milk in the kitchen fridge) and bottled water. Very comfy beds, breakfast is huge if you want to max out on bread and... More

We planned a 21 day trip to Italy and Rome was our first stop. Alessandra and her daughter made our experience better than we could have imagined. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was superb. A lot of great options every morning. Every morning Alessandra would ask about your plans for the day and would offer suggestions, alternatives,... More
