Situated in a perfect location within easy reach of everywhere you'd want to go whilst in Rome, and surrounded by great restaurants and bars. Our room was spacious and comfortable and Alessandra and Carolina so welcoming and friendly. Great breakfast and good chats every morning, our hosts provided maps, guide books and tips that helped us to plan our day.... More

It is the best option if you want to feel and experience Rome like a Roman. Alessandra and Carolina are great hosts. They went out of their way to give us directions, plan our days and help us save money and time. They gave us a Nutella jar and cookies that safely made it to the US after being checked... More

Very happy with this accommodation. Trastevere is a great place to stay in this incredibly busy city. Easy access to public transport or to walk all over the city as we did and then jump on the tram after a long day on foot. Lovely rooms, very comfortable and stylishly decorated. Very comfy beds, plenty of space and storage. Very... More

The hostess Alessandra was very helpful with suggesting things to do, places to visit and fine restaurants in the neighbourhood. She seemed to know everything about Rome and had prepared maps and overviews for all that one could think of doing. We really appreciated the open and friendly conversations over breakfast. Hope to come back another time.

Wonderful BB, Alessandra and Carolina really make you feel like home. They made our stay really comfortable, breakfast was very nice and they even recommend us very good restaurants around. I would definitely choose to stay in this hotel in my next trip to Rome.

Alessandra and carolina really make you feel as home. They put a lot of attention to make you feel welcome, explain you every point of interest worth to visit and even recommend you VERY good roman restaurants. I'd definitely choose to stay in this BB in another visit to Rome.

Location was great, rooms were great, proprietress was especially wonderful. The only recommendation I have is to ask how to work the air if you think you will need it. Since the place is not staffed at night, we sweltered a bit for a couple of nights in June (and I forgot to ask in the morning!). No cross breezes... More

Let you Alessandra give all the advises and tips about Rome, even if you've already been here. We talk to her every morning, she's very friendly and professional at the same time. Probably her best value is her perfect condition to be the Rome's best Time Coach, because she perfectly knows about details: ask her for example about your visit... More

I cannot say more wonderful things about the Trastevere Colors! Every detail is attended to and the family makes your stay in Rome the best it can be. You let them know when you will arrive and someone from the family assists you with your check in. There are about 6 guest rooms-all relatively spacious, beds can be set up... More

I have recently returned from 5 days in Rome with my daughter and I can honestly say our stay at Trastevere Colors was a total delight. Trastevere is a fascinating and vibrant area with such a good choice of places to eat, street theatre and music and small interesting shops selling patisserie/deli/cheese...... The B&B is well located on the train/tram... More

Staying in Trastevere

Neighborhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
