The best thing about this place is its great location (5 min walk to Piazza de Santa Maria) and the wonderful and helpful hostess. We stayed in the only apartment, otherwise the rest seem to be rooms. The apartment was good for a family of four, although a bit cold in October but air-condition machine could warm it up. The... Ideal location for exploring Rome, either on foot or by public transport. The B&B is in the heart of the fascinating Trastevere district with its many quaint streets, piazzas, churches, restaurants and boutiques. Classical Rome and the Vatican are not far away. The welcome from hostess Alessandra makes one feel immediately at home. This multilingual lady is warm, friendly and... More

From the moment my husband and I stepped foot inside the inn, we felt at home. The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The family style breakfast was the highlight of our stay where we could chat with all the other guests and our host Alessandra. She was the most welcoming and helpful host I have ever encountered. She was... More

We stayed here last year. Alessandra was helpful beyond expectations. A lovely person and helpful to us even giving a lift to an area difficult to get to with public transport. The room was quiet, cool and clean. There were lots of good restaurants nearby and easy access to the centre. It was good meeting other guests around the breakfast... More

This is not a luxury hotel. At this BnB you get all the true welcomeness you do not get at a regular hotel. Alexandra will do anything for your comfort and guide you about everything going on in Rome at breakfast. Breakfast you enjoy at the community table in company with your host. This BnB is perfectly placed 5 min... More

Perfect place to stay in Roma, in a great neighborhood just a quick walk over the river from all the main sights. The map that Alessandra provided with many recommended restaurants/cafes really came in handy. Will definitely be coming back.

Perfect position, clean room, great aircon, good wifi, great breaking to start the day and a wonderful Family that just can't do enough to help. Maps with places to visit incl open times, lists of restaurants and rough prices all set... More

Excelent B&B. Perfect rooms and breakfast is complete. The family is very simpatic and hospitable. We were extremely well received. From the first until the last days we were supported with all kind of information we needed to know Roma as the best experience. Congrats for the family!!

Staying in Trastevere

Neighborhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
