We did not have a good experience with rhome86, which is disappointing because we had booked it due to the good reviews here on tripadvisor. My wife and I had booked for only one night, where we requested, and received confirmation, that we would be arriving at 9am. After a 40 hour transit from Aus via HK, we arrived to... More

Dear Customer, I am shocked by your review. Nothing of what you have described in it is true. Before explaining to all Tripadvisor’s Users how things really went, I would like to spend a few words to make you think about your behavior. You have hurt my dignity and my professionalism, two qualities I possess and of which I am... More

We had a very pleasant stay with Antonio...he makes this B&B successful The breakfast is nutritional and ample. Antonio sees to all all your needs. The rooms are comfortable but not extravagant. Unfortunately the toiletries are non existent and the linens are adequate. However that did not deter us from enjoying the ambiance, Antonio's company and his advice on sightseeing.

I only stayed for one night but was very pleased. Good location, wonderful and friendly staff. I arrived at midnight and Antonio kindly organized a driver to pick me up from the airport. The girl that was waiting at the B&B was very kind and gave me a map and travel tips for the next day, despite the late hour.... More

My husband, teenage daughter and I stayed one night at the B&B. We had taken the train from Florence and found it easy walking distance from Termini station. Antonio was very friendly, arranged a private car for us to the airport for the next morning for a fare that was cheaper than a taxi, and got up early to make... More

Oh my dear, what a wonderful surprise is for me to read your review... what I read is a source of positive energy, and now I need people like you in my modest accommodation, because I must go to work each day even if I am gravely ill because of a bad accident happened last week... Your words help me... More

This is the second time i have stayed here and the improvements made to the windows have made such a difference to the noise! It is a lovely clean b& b and Antonio is a fantastic host and very helpful. The b&b itself is next to a metro station making it a great choice for anyone visiting rome and there... More

Definitely recommended : convenient location (Termini and major attractions within walking distance), clean and modern rooms (designed creatively, not like all others same, same b&b), kind and attentive host (Antonio, tkanks for the tips and Q&A sessions ;-)). I'm regular in Rome (the food, the sights :)) and this B&B is really one of the best you can get !

My husband and I stayed at the napoleon guest house in October. The host was amazing very friendly and informative of Rome’s attractions. The property is in a great location no more than 15 minuets to most attractions. We visited the Vatican city while we were in Rome we caught the metro there but walked back to the guest house... It's our first experience staying at a B&B and we were satisfied! This B&B provides nice room, centred location and good service. The owner, Antonio gave us information about the places and good local restaurants. It was nice to have a chat with Antonio in the morning while he prepared cappucino for us. At night you might heard the tram... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
