The hotel itself is more of an apartment. It's modern, clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a bit away from the touristy stuff. Which is nice because you don't get everyone trying to sell you stuff when you step out for dinner. You can easily walk to the Coliseum or Vatican, there is that much to... More

This hotel was great. The staff were so welcoming and the room was huge! The only reason I have given 4 and not 5 was it was around a 15 minute walk into the city where all the restaurants and bars were. However! It is near the best gelato shop ever and the nicest pizzas I have ever had too,... More

We stayed here for 3 nights whilst visiting Rome. Our room was clean and modern and the hotel was tucked away in a quiet road which was a relief at the end of a busy day packed of sight seeing! We ate breakfast at Cafe Piave round the corner as this was enroute to the train stations to the main... More

We stayed here for our honeymoon. It was very quite and clean. Free wifi. It is close to bus stops that can take you to the Vatican or the colosseum for only €2,50. Walking time is about an hour to colosseum. Vatican is much farther. The Roma Termini train station is only a 10 min walk from the hotel if... More

Lovely B & B in the centre of Rome. Very good position for sight seeing. Only a short walk to many sights, and to the Termini station. The breakfast arrangements are with a couple of local cafes. We liked the Caffe Piave the best, but the other one, which is right next door is fine too. The owners (Claudia and... More

A good place to stay in, nice clean rooms, very cheap mini bar with a bottle of good vine available. The place is located very close to all of the important touristic attractions. Besides all the pros, the place is quite difficult to find and the walls are thin and you can hear your neighbours all the time. However the owners... More

It is a b&b where the owner has 6 excellent rooms and a deal with the caffettaria at the corner of the building to serve a delicate breakfast. Here we got every morning a good cappuccino, a glass juice and a filled croissant. It was not very much but tasted very good, nice for a day starter. The room is... More

On the 5th or 6th floor of an apartment building on a quiet residential street. Can be somewhat hard to find. Breakfast is offered at 2 local cafes and consist of coffee, juice and a croissant. What I liked: Extremely quiet and owners really make that a priority. Extremely clean. Excellent and reasonably priced restaurants nearby. Within walking distance to... More

Stayed here for a week whilst visiting Rome. We were greeted by very helpful staff upon our arrival who supplied us with all the information we needed to get started with seeing the sights of Rome. We had a late check-in and late check-out, all of which was no problem. Reasonable room rates as well as reasonable rates on the... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
