I booked a room in December 2013, then I canceled the booking, because I didn't get the confirmation in time. However I've been charged by the hotel in January 2014 the full price. I still cannot return my money. Disgusting.

I stayed here in September 2013 and some how they kept my credit card information and charged me erroneously in January 2014. The place is very sketchy and is not a bed in breakfast. Any good reviews are probably by the owners.

If you're expecting a hotel in Spagna, don't go there. It's a scam to send you to an appartment near Coliseum. You were supposed to go to a hotel in Spagna, but when we arrived, nothing that could remotely make you think there is a hotel here : only the owner waiting behind a counter, no employee, no noise, no... Of course we asked return for payment but since hotel refused to pay our money back, our operator, hostelbookers.com took over and is paying for us. We now... More

My trip to Rome was enhanced so much by my stay at this hotel. It is a small quiet hotel on one of the most popular streets. The rooms are large, the aircon works great. The bathroom is clean and airy and large as well. It is an amazing price for a sensational location. As a budget traveller this hotel... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
