Very unfriendly staff!! Apartments are 200 m away from the hotel. We arrived at 10 pm and were informed that the apartments are elsewhere only 200 away. There was no sign or nothing written to help us find the apartments. No one came to ask us if everything was ok during our stay, nobody came to clean up! Very disappointed!!!... More

Good location, quiet place; close to colosseum; they have storage luggage service(not really the "locker" service; just give to staffs; they are friendly to watch over luggages for you); so you can go around freely.

We stayed there only for one night. Firstly, we liked the hotel location, 5-10 minutes to the Colosseum, Palatin hill and Forums. Breakfast on the rooftop was also good. Good hotel, good value for money. Room and bathroom were a bit small

We were a family of six traveling around Italy. Stayed in Apollo for 4 nights. That was our fifth time in Apollo. We really liked the place since our 1st time several years ago. Apollo is a family enterprise. I now consider all these open hearted people as my close friends!!! They are always polite and helpful. My statistics is... More

Price vs Quality is good ; stayed 4 nights with breakfast , twin room € 338 Cosy hotel with nice staff; room at the streetside was quiet ( if you don't open the window ) ; Room very clean, not too big though. Breakfast on the roof terrace , must be nice in summertime... Only thing i missed were the... More

we stayed in the family suite. We had to unlock three doors to get into the room. The doors were difficult to open. We had only one set of keys which made it difficult with 4 adults staying there. You needed all keys to enter anex/room. The toilet paper roll holder kept falling apart. And the air conditioner /heater had... More

We're really sorry if something went wrong during your stay here. We're particularly sorry to read in the title of your review "not three stars", but after reading your full review and your final vote, we'd love to think that you didn't really mean to be so strict with us. We all hope to have you back soon in Rome... More

We stayed here in September 2014 for 4 nights. Had a few travel hiccups but hotel staff were patient and helpful, tried to assist as much as they could. Very pleasant people. Hotel is in a great location. Rooms very clean, has a lift, breakfast on rooftop a nice way to start the day. Would definitely stay again.

My partner and I had a lovely time in Rome and Hotel Apollo helped to make this trip special! The price was good and the room comfortable and homely. As you stepped out of the front doors, to your left you could see the Colosseum down the road and the closest Metro (Cavour) was a 10 minute walk around the... More

Spent six days here: as has been written, Via dei Serpenti is near the main train station (about a 10-minute walk away up Via Cavour), close to the great museums on this side of town, close to Santa Maria Maggiore, to the Metro B station Cavour, and to many good restaurants on Via dei Boschetti, Via Urbana, and Via Panisperna.... Traveled to this hotel in November 2014 for 4 nights, and it was amazing! Way, way better than I was expecting. The hotel is in a perfect place right in the centre of Rome, we got a room on the 3rd/4th floor (can't remember exactly) but you could see the Colosseum from our room! what a Roman experience to see... Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
