We stayed in an apartment which we knew when we booked. It was a 5 minute walk from the hotel, a 10 minute walk from the Coliseum, and a few minutes in any direction to get to a market, food, or the beautiful fountain to relax by! It is also only a 10 minute walk to the metro. The building... More

We were a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 older children) and were in the Apollo Apartments, not the hotel itself - we knew this when we booked, so it was not a surprise, and in fact we wanted the apartments as we preferred more space. The Apartment was a 300 metre walk from the hotel. It was easy to... More

I had a good experience in this hotel, room was very cozy and clean, no view to the street but you need to sleep not to be at the window :-) the front desk was really helpful, the service was all the time A+ complementary breakfast and it was very good and tasty! very close to the Coliseum and some... Great location near the Colosseum so a good base for seeing the sights of Rome. The apartment was a short walk from the hotel and we were given clear, helpful advice and a map to find it. The man at reception was very pleasant and spoke good English. The apartment was newly refurbished, and spacious. On the down side, the... More

We arrived and were greeted by a man with a horrible personality. He genuinely hated people. He told us that we had to walk for a mile (it wasn't exactly but it was really annoying) to get to our room. The room was not what we expected. I thought that we were staying in the hotel itself but we had... More

The hotel Apollo is in a great place only a few minutes from the Coliseum but we were disappointed with our room. We arrived in the early evening with luggage for 2 weeks in Italy and a son and daughter aged 19 & 17. I had booked a room with three bedrooms but suspected problems when checking in. They told... After reading some reviews, worth mentioning I stood at the main hotel, in a x04 room. Strong points: - the price x location ratio: hands down, it's a bargain if compared to other near hotels. It's 5 to 10 minutes walking to the coliseum and 15 to the Piazza della Repubblica - The terrace where the coffee is served is... More

Small comfortable hotel in the very heart of the eternal city, the Rome. I visited the Rome and choose this place for stay. I wasn't disappointed. Though some of the guests weren't very happy with the small choice of breakfasts it was not a problem for me personally. You can reach mostly all greatest places of the Rome by foot... More

Good location for Colloseum & forum, easy walk to them. Nice hotel with friendly staff. No laundry service, had to use local dry cleaner which proved very expensive, could have bought new for the price of some of the cleaning! Bed we had was very uncomfortable, seemed old and broken, creaked every time we moved, should be looked into.

Nothing extreme to say about this hotel, it was average. The internet was very unreliable, the staff were friendly and the location was good. But the room was nothing special and the room was very expensive. I will try another hotel on my next visit to Rome.
