When we got to the hotel we were told that we'd have to pay 15 euros if we wanted air conditioning when the website told us that all rooms had it. When we did manage to get to sleep despite the heat we'd often be woken up by shouting outside or barking dogs. Our bathroom window also didn't shut which... More

People here are friendly and helpful, but the room was really tight and I kept thinking I would bump my head on the overhead TV every time I rounded the end of the bed! The bed was very short for my tall friend. The air con worked, but leaked and we needed to keep getting towels to soak up water.... More

Clean rooms in old building next to Rome Termini train station. Very secure, helpful staff. I would go back if walking to trains was an issue. This is not a fancy place. I don't think I saw any kids. !!!

After booking online and being a little concerned about how close the hotel is to Termini Train Station we were pleasantly surprised at what a great choice it was! The location is perfect, you can take the Teravision bus or the train to Termini from the airport and get off only steps from the hotel. The staff is friendly and... More

Close to Termini station. Many prostitutes and homeless people in the area: we didn't feel safe at all!!. You need to go through a long corridor in the building full of garbage bags and bad smell. Rooms are very small and smelled really bad. Breakfast is only a croissant and a coffee. The owner of the place is a crazy... More

Dear Customer , first of all thank you for being our state welcome guests, We are sorry that you Have Found the Termini station a place so unpleasant and spectral but you can not prevent a public citizen to stand in a public area , although this would benefit me and my structure, even you can prevent condominiums consume only food... we stayed for four nights , it was basic but lovely. The signora was very helpful and friendly, we will go back. Good location next to the termini and very quiet at night. Easy access to local bars and restaurants. Staff were very helpful and gave us tips on where to eat and how to travel around.

This hotel is 2 blocks from the train/bus station yet is totally quiet at night. The room was cleaned daily and looked great. We stayed for 6 nights and when on one day a bad smell blew in from the window, we were offered another room - we waited and the smell passed. The lady at the front desk was... More

Not a perfect stay from this hotel...Lacks entirely customer service skills and hospitality. Owner is not so friendly in his business. Will have this hotel banned from our company. Not recommended! Not recommended!

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
