Clean rooms in old building next to Rome Termini train station. Very secure, helpful staff. I would go back if walking to trains was an issue. This is not a fancy place. I don't think I saw any kids. !!!

After booking online and being a little concerned about how close the hotel is to Termini Train Station we were pleasantly surprised at what a great choice it was! The location is perfect, you can take the Teravision bus or the train to Termini from the airport and get off only steps from the hotel. The staff is friendly and... More

Close to Termini station. Many prostitutes and homeless people in the area: we didn't feel safe at all!!. You need to go through a long corridor in the building full of garbage bags and bad smell. Rooms are very small and smelled really bad. Breakfast is only a croissant and a coffee. The owner of the place is a crazy... More

Dear Customer , first of all thank you for being our state welcome guests, We are sorry that you Have Found the Termini station a place so unpleasant and spectral but you can not prevent a public citizen to stand in a public area , although this would benefit me and my structure, even you can prevent condominiums consume only food... we stayed for four nights , it was basic but lovely. The signora was very helpful and friendly, we will go back. Good location next to the termini and very quiet at night. Easy access to local bars and restaurants. Staff were very helpful and gave us tips on where to eat and how to travel around.

This hotel is 2 blocks from the train/bus station yet is totally quiet at night. The room was cleaned daily and looked great. We stayed for 6 nights and when on one day a bad smell blew in from the window, we were offered another room - we waited and the smell passed. The lady at the front desk was... More

After reading many poor reviews from the fussier of guests I arrived a little worried. Needless to say the hotel provided just as much as you would expect a hotel with this price tag to provide. A minutes walk to Termini proved perfect to travel around rome on the underground and ideal to nip back in the afternoon for a... More

Just returned from Rome and to say I was disappointed is an understatement! Firstly we arrived at the hotel expecting to see the entrance from the street, but you have to actually walk into a corridor to get to the entrance! Check in was fine and very helpful, until we got to our room and there was a god awful... More

My wife and I stayed here in the first week of October 2012. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the train station and in a good location. The rooms are small which is typical of a hotel priced as it is. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was functional. The shower was in a corner of... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
