I've stayed at Residenza di Ripetta for business each month for the last 6 months and have always had an enjoyable stay. The first thing to mention about the hotel is the location - it's perfectly situated to see a lot of the sights of Rome including the Spanish steps and Trevi fountain. In addition you'll find a number of... More

We stayed for 4 nights in November. The location of the hotel is excellent. We were able to walk to almost all the sights in Rome. It was also very near a subway. The room we stayed in was very large. It had a separate bedroom, living area and an upstairs kitchenette (which we didn't used - couldn't find any... More

The hotel is in a good location near the Piazza del Popolo. It consists of several old Roman houses joined together, with an internal garden. The bedrooms are mainly suites and are very comfortable and spacious. Some of the hotel still needs to be refurbished.. The Reception and lounges are very attractive with some spectacular artwork. The staff on reception... More

The location of the hotel is quite nice. Very central with the metro a very short walk. The staff at the front desk was very professional and helpful. The breakfast was nice, and we enjoyed eating in the courtyard. The rooms are large enough, but I would not recommend this hotel until it is remodeled. We received a letter stating... More

...the building is old but everything has been renovated. A small internal garden makes a very good spot for breakfast(given it is in that area) and a drink(it's open from April to October). There is also a very atmospheric living room and bar/cafe. The room is very spacious, with a big sleeping room(very comfortable bed and pillows) and a seating... More

Our room was located in an older building serviced by a small elevator for 3 people (only 1 person with 1 luggage will fit in). There is 1 room per floor next to the elevator and it had a spiral staircase (if you're inclined to walk up/down instead). I believe there are only 5 rooms in that building. The location... More

I recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. I had a room and my friends had a room 2 floors down. I was stuck in their SMALL RINKY DINK elevator for over an hour. I got into the elevator to meet my friends to go to the airport and the elevator made a jump and then did nothing. I... More

Don't stay here until they renovate the rooms.... The hotel is very shabby, the carpets are stained, the upholsterry torn. Since it was the most expensive hotel we stayed in in Italy (a superior delux of some sort) it was very dissapointing. I didn't fell that the good size of the room is a good enough reason to stay here.... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
