Just returned from a very enjoyable weekend at the Ripetta. It is located about 45 minutes from Fiumicino airport, depending on who is driving! For this experience you should pay about 48 euros. Our party of four didn't fill the minibus we picked up outside the airport, so we chose to wait until other passengers joined us, otherwise we were... More

Nice hotel, nice service and a large and very quiet courtyard room. We stayed at the hotel for three nights and there is absolutely nothing negative to say about this place. The location on Via di Ripetta close to Piazza del Popolo is fantastic and a short (15-20 minuts) walk down Ripetta you are at the magnificent Pantheon and Piazza... More

We spent hours looking for an hotel in Rome. We wanted a small centrally located hotel, that was luxurious, aesthetically pleasing and affordable. The Residenza Ripetta provided it all and more. The public areas are very attractive ,beautifully furnished ,as it was once a convent the atmosphere has an extra nuance of mystique. The gardens looked delightful despite the rain... More

Welcoming and friendly service on arrival to this lovely hotel. Staff were always welcoming and helpful with any request. Beautifully furnished and relaxing facilities in common areas and breakfast restaurant. We had a room with 2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms over 2 levels, with a good amount of living space and room for our family of two teenage children, this was... More

This hotel has very good, spacious and well-furnished rooms. Service quality is excellent. It is centrally located and many of Rome's attractions are within walking distance. There is a also a Metro station nearby. Wifi quality could have been better. I did not try the paid wifi.

We had a one week stay and never used public transportation. All of the sights you want to see in historic Rome are within walking distance; some long, some short. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants ranging from large high end to small, intimate family run businesses. We splurged on the hotel as we considered it high end but it... More

The hotel was in an absolutely perfect location for us. It is one block from the Piazza de Popolo in the middle of the best shopping in Rome. Great restaurants and sites right outside your door. We had an amazing rate (booked online, in advance through the hotel directly) and when we arrived, they upgraded us to a suite. I... More

I've stayed at Residenza di Ripetta for business each month for the last 6 months and have always had an enjoyable stay. The first thing to mention about the hotel is the location - it's perfectly situated to see a lot of the sights of Rome including the Spanish steps and Trevi fountain. In addition you'll find a number of... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
