Tucked away off the busy street is the Residenza di Ripetta hotel, where the building was once a 17th century convent. Right in the middle of the tall, squared building, with a view open to the sky, the city noise silenced and lush gardens full of fruit trees, flowers and herbs, the restaurant is a secret hideaway for simply delicious... We were really happy with the standard of this hotel. The room was large and well organised. The staff were very friendly and it's a great location near the Spanish steps, we walked to all the tourist attractions, so no need to use the subway. The breakfast had plenty of options. We would stay here again!

We had a great stay at Residenza di Ripetta. Outstanding location, great front desk staff, very nice common areas and adequate rooms. I could not push myself to give the hotel a full 5.0 because of the poor attitude, laziness and arrogant behavior of the waiters and food and beverage staff. Breakfast included in the rate was actually quite good,... More

My travel planner suggested this hotel for Rome over the usual chain 5 star hotels. I like to travel in style but not into the loss of an arm or leg or both. This charming hotel more than fit the bill. The room (a suite) was not huge but just perfect. Kitchenette if needed (we did not use) great amenities,... More

Looks like we were fortunate that we didn't dine here. I can say there weren't good vibes when we ate breakfast. The restaurant across the street with the little blue Vespa is fantastic and we ate there twice. Otherwise the lobby staff were very helpful and made us feel welcome. The room was like a dungeon ( room 303) with... More

The hotel is very conveniently located in Spanish Steps area. The staff is extremely welcoming and ready to assist you in any way, except the restaurant staff, they are not polite and act as if your stay is a bother. Room we got was very comfortable with plenty of closet space. Bathroom was very clean and surprisingly large for Italy.... More

Our family stayed at this hotel for five nights. The three rooms that we had were spacious with sitting areas. The location is extremely convenient. My complaint is that the restaurant manager was horrific. You will see lovely photos of this outdoor sitting area which in truth is quite uncomfortable in terms of seating. After dinner we asked to sit... More

I enjoyed my experience at this hotel. After a week of traveling through Italy, it was wonderful having three rooms to spread my belongings. My suite was comfortable, the air-conditioning was working and the furnishings very eloquent. The bathroom was large enough to put two people's toiletries without having to remove them to another part of the hotel room. The... More

I traveled with my son to Rome and stayed in this historic hotel right off of the Piazza del Popolo. The hotel was once a monastery and is located on a quiet street in walking distance of many attractions. The metro station is nearby, and there are many wonderful restaurants and shops close by. The courtyard was beautiful and we... More

I stayed in this Hotel for 4 nights with a tour group. My room was big and beautifully decorated with a dining area and a lounge-room area, bookshelves full of books, cooking facilities, dining table, huge bathroom and of course a nice big bed with the TV on the wall, it resembled a small apartment. Imagine my surprise when I heard... More
