We stayed at Residenza di Ripetta for three nights from 09 January. It was just my daughter and myself and we'd requested a twin room. The room turned out to be two single beds zipped together - so in effect, a very large double. That wasn't a problem for us and the bed was extremely comfortable, good linen and pillows... More

Off the beaten track by a street or two, though right in the middle of down-town Rome, this ex-nunnery was a real find. Staff were excellent; especially at the front desk. The rooms were large and airy, looking onto a beautiful courtyard. The hotel breakfast was very good. major attractions and a plethora of shops and entertainment were within walking... More

My husband and I booked Residenza di Ripetta based on former Travelocity reviews and the hotel did not disappoint! The staff was friendly and very helpful. We had to change the reservation slightly as our daughter decided to meet us and they were very accommadating, to the point of upgrading us when the new room wouldn't be ready. We also... More

Stunning hotel, fantastic location. We had a family room which had 2 rooms both of which were big. The rooms were very clean. The hotel bar is lovely but expensive like most hotel bars. The breakfast was very good, great start to the day. I found it very hard to find a hotel in Rome that offers breakfast. Would highly... More

Our room, suite really, - 321 - was very, very nice and spacious. The breakfast which is included was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it to any and all friends. The furnishings were appropriate for the style of the hotel. I love how it is not... More

I have stayed at this palatial hotel since 1997...most recently, August 2015. It was constructed as a palace, later converted into a Convent and most recently used as a world class hotel with suites that can easily accommodate a small family...two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living-dining area with a small cucina. It now serves a beautiful European breakfast in... More

Visited this hotel for a 3 day break and the first thing that you notice is how central is this hotel from Trevi, Spanish Steps and Piazza di Popollo. Everything is within 5 - 10 minutes and coliseum 40 mins walk and Vatican 30 minutes walk. We had room 103 which had 1 bed downstairs and upstairs was another 2... More

Stayed for a week in Sept 2014 - price included breakfast. Found the location to be ideal - close to train/metro station, also able to walk to many of the historic sites, and handy to local cafes & many restaurants. We picked this place over others as the triple share room dimensions on the website were larger than other places... More

We were in this hotel 3 nights in July'15. The hotel is very very well maintained, clean, comfortable and well located. The bedroom was a very ample 2-story superior double room. Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
