Perfect central location, caring staff and beautiful rooms. The lady who escorted us to the room was really kind and we got a nice warm welcome with a fruit basket. Feeling like home! Cant wait to try their breakfast! Highly recommended if you are looking for a central hotel and good value for money

Our family of five had a great experience at this hotel for 5 nights. We had two hotel rooms, and both had new, modern, updated bathrooms, and both rooms were bright and light with large windows. We were in the classic suites. Excellent new and modern closet space, and mini bar in each room. Water was not a problem since... More

Comfortable, clean hotel room in a great location - easy walk to many restaurants, shops & places of interest. The courtyard was an oasis in the noise & bustle of Rome - breakfast very good & by night a late night bar which was very nice to return to. Free wifi didn't work in rooms, but in all the public... The major positive about Residenca di Ripetta is its location, as has been noted in many reviews. It is very well situated to walk to many major sights in Rome, and there are a number of good restaurants right nearby. Upon check-in, we were "upgraded" to the Presidential Suite. It's unlike any luxury suite I've ever seen--very dark, old furniture,... More

We spent 3 nights at the Residenza. Great location in Tridente area, near high end shopping & Spanish steps; short walk to Piazza di Poppolo. Great small restaurants & local shops too. Upgraded to huge Jr. Suite with large walk-in closet. Since this was once a convent, the rooms are older styled; tub/shower was very small, but bathroom itself was... More

Our first impression: we arrived by taxi from Positano. The front desk staff watched us as we struggled to get our bags up the stairs and into the lobby without even looking up as our bags banged against each step. Not a great customer service start. Our room was ok and recently refurbished. It even smelled like fresh paint. Management... More

We spent a very happy 5 days at the Residenza Di Ripetta in Rome. It was a special birthdays trip and the hotel just mad it perfect. Friendly and ever helpful staff, a large comfortable room and a quiet and unique environment made this a choice we were very glad of. Breakfasts which are so often the failing of otherwise... More

We stayed at the Residenza di Ripetta between 7 April 2015 and 10 April 2015. We travelled to Rome for a milestone birthday and there were five of us in total, staying in two superior rooms (one infant). It is refreshing to see that the photographs on this hotel's website provide an accurate representation of what to expect when you... More

Firstly, if you want a centrally located Hotel it doesn't get much better than this; the place itself seems an oasis of calm along a cobbled back street. Secondly, this hotel is a converted convent so the rooms are large and quiet with high ceilings and a feeling of serenity. I would describe the furnishing as old style luxury with... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
