We had quite an experience at this hotel, and not of the good kind. We booked two rooms, one for us and one for our disabled friend who we were taking for his first trip to Italy. When making the booking, we were told that there was a ground floor room for our friend who is a wheelchair user. On... More

If you want a budget hotel in the heart of Rome, this is your place. You can walk to all the major destinations if you are fit. The hotel itself is nothing special, but it is in a charming, little street, close to Campo dei Fiori, the rooms are decent, the staff friendly if you behave in a friendly way... More

We booked hotel pomezia for 7 nights having never been to Rome before, but wanting somewhere central and affordable. The hotel is in a great location, we were able to walk everywhere (colosseum, Vatican, borghese, trevi fountain, piazza navona etc) in under 40 minutes and the air conditioning was incredibly welcome after the June sun! Breakfasts were fairly basic (bread,... More

Dirty. Dirty and definitely not refurbished. We were unfortunate enough to book a double room but were presented with room 27. Having stayed in various 2* hotels Italy I didn't expect the Ritz. I did expect something bordering on acceptable. On arrival it was clear the website pictures were a generation old, despite claims to renovation. The room was as... More

I stayed at the Hotel Pomezia as part of a history trip with my college at the end of February. The location is excellent! Many of the major sites, such as the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum were within ten minutes walking distance. The hotel is down a traditional Italian street which was simply beautiful. It also was just down... More

The Location is the best you can get:-)Everything is nearby and you don't have to use the public transport if you are in Rome for a couple of days. We had a really nice time in this hotel, personal was friendly and helped us with whatever we needed.

This is a nice hotel, in a good location when you are not trying to break the bank. Pro's: 1. Location - Personally walked everywhere from here with no problems. 2. Staff - Friendly 3. Breakfast - Great spread and plenty. Con's: 1. No elevator and stairs are long. 2. No safe's in room. 3. Bed's are not the most... More

This place is ideal for people who need to stay somewhere very close to the center for reasonable price. The owners do not speak perfect english but they do maximum to help and understand you. They serve typical italian breakfast. The rooms are a bit small and there is no elevator but the view from the room is lovely.

For the money we payed here in the very city centre in the high season we would never expect anything more. On contrary we were pleasently surprised. Our room and bathroom were clean, kept up every day and it was quiet. Check-in was smooth, the owners were ready to answer all our questions and meet all our needs. It was... More

I've stayed in a few hotels in Rome's historic centre over the years. All in the European 2-3 star range. As such, I thought knew what to expect: A slightly tarnished interior, staff that would help check you in or out, but little beyond, and an "included breakfast" of plain sausage, plain cheese, pastries, juice, and coffee. This hotel exceeded... More
