I stayed there with my husband and the location is the highlight of this hotel. It was safe and the staff was also friendly. It is simple and you have to go up three flihts of stairs but it surely worth the price, specially if you don´t have kids or much luggage. I would stay there again!! more

My girlfriend and I stayed here for four nights in July 2009. First, the location is great (almost next to the Pantheon). It's really nice to stay in the heart of Rome. There is so much nightlife in all the piazzas, it's great to be part of that and be able to take a short walk back to the hotel.... more

My husband and I spent 4 nights in what has to be the biggest fleabag hotel in Rome, the Hotel Mimosa. We found the hotel's website and the website totally misrepresents what you are getting. Our room was dirty. Specifically, the floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years, the shower curtain was filthy, the grout in the shower... more

Expectations better met if one thinks of Hotel Mimosa as upgraded hostel. Three flights of stairs to our triple room with bath and one window overlooking dark air shaft. Bath was cramped. Mattresses and pillows were thin. Lighting was dim. No phone in room. No one made our beds during the day. Indifferent staff and stark public areas. Breakfast comprised... more

Honestly, you get much more than what you pay for with this hotel by the location alone, which is literally steps away from the Pantheon and the great neighborhood that surrounds it. I stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend while on military leave, and it was pleasant. Sure the bathroom could have been better, but it wasn't disgusting. The rooms are... more

It's an inexpensive hotel, so naturally you lose some luxuries. It's unclear to me why "bargain" hotel shoppers have five-star tastes and write negative reviews. The room was not bad, the bedding was clean, the bathroom was... a bathroom. Our only three complaints (which we never actually complained about) were that the showerhead was due for a CLR treatment, the... more

The first problem me and my sister encountered when staying at this hotel was that we nearly couldn't find it! It was about 10pm when we arrived, the taxi driver wasn't sure where exactly the hotel was so dropped us off near the Pantheon. We ended up walking past it about three times and in the end we had to... more

This hotel seemed just like any of the other budget hotels we stayed at in Italy. The room was clean with two twin beds pushed together. The sheets and blankets were new and clean. The furniture and fixtures were from IKEA. Our window opened up on to the street. Our room just had a sink. We shared the bathroom. I... more

We picked this Hotel due to it's location which was excellent. Everything else was dreadful. Hotel is on the second floor of a old building, Everything is old, worn or stained. The bathroom we had was fitted with old dirty jacuzzi type bath with a hand held shower. The breakfast we had once but it was so bad we ate... more

There is only one positive thing I can say about this hotel and that is it has a good location. After that I can not say a good work. It appears that this is a money making project with little to nothing going back into the up keep of the facility. Honestly, I do not believe they know how to... more
