In summer, in Rome, the size of this pool makes up for any perceived idiosyncrasies about the strange split level rooms or the very dated decor or the distance from the centre. There a several good restaurants within a 15 minute slow, safe walk through this expensive residential area of Roma. Tell any taxi to take you through the park,... More

My husband and I stayed here for two weeks to visit our son while he is at a Canadian University studying architecture in Rome. We wanted to have a kitchen in our room so that we could prepare some meals if we chose to. We chose the junior suite so that we could also have a sitting area separate from... More

Just returned from Italy, spent 5 days in Rome at the Aldrovandi Residences located across from the Villa Borghese. Our room was #106, 2 bedroom, two levels, 1 bath, kitchen. The rooms were older and the furniture was old and out dated. The 'lving area was made up of a futon type couch which made it very difficult for our... More

An excellent experience - spacious and very ralphlauren-ishly apartment, superbly nice staff, great swimming pool... at the cost of a standard three-star hotel. Only minus is the distance from center and thus the added expenses of using a taxi all the time. However, the local tram or bus can be used as a cheap means to reach the metro or... More

We stayed here for 2 nights during the Champions League final in May 2009 and simply cannot fault the place. The location is quiet and seems at first a little out of the way but don't let that put you off. It only took a short while to realise that once you got used to the transport system that this... Located close to the Villa Borghese park, Aldrovandi offered me a quiet and beautifull spacious room in Rome. To cold of course to use the swimmingpool, but the walks in the nearby park were great. Good taxi service, but i also walked to the nearby metro at approx 750 metres. Friendly staff. More

My husband lives at the aldrovandi residence at the moment because he moved in Rome for business. I saw his room and I found it very nice! It is big, with quite a big bathroom, a tv and a little kitchen. You have a confortable swimming pool outside and a bar, only for people who stay in the residence. Every... More
