We had a fantastic honeymoon here in September. We were looking for a hotel that was outside the centre of Rome, with a pool where we could relax after a day of sightseeing. We were very pleasantly surprised by the high standard of accommodation at the hotel, the complimentary bottle of wine and the very friendly staff. The hotel is... More

The staff at this hotel couldn't have been more helpful and polite. The suites are spacious and kept spotlessly clean. The hotel itself is situated very close to the Borghese Gardens, the Etruscan Museum and the Modern Art museum and is within walking distance of the centre of Rome but it is also on two tram routes for the less... A wonderful place to stay in Rome. Our suite was very nicely furnished, spacious, light and airy, with a fully equipped kitchenette. It is in a residential area which is nice and quiet. The pool area is spotlessly clean, peaceful and relaxing. Tram and bus stops are immediately outside the hotel. providing quick and easy access to all of the... More

It really depends on what sort of holiday maker you are as to whether this is the hotel for you. If you like to pop back to your hotel to freshen up before going out to dinner then this perhaps is not the place for you, as the hotel's location is a little out of the town centre. However, if,... Aldrovandi Residence city suites is a wonderful place to stay in Rome. The suites are spacious and comfortably furnished and the kitchen is well equipped. The hotel is not too far from the spots one would want to visit (easily reached by taxis) and the surroundings are quiet and peaceful. The breakfast which is included is great. But what truly... We, as a family of 3, have stayed in Aldrovandi Residence City Suites for 5 nights in Oct'14. Our room was a Senior Suite in mid-floors so no need to mention the space, high ceilings and the comfort of the room. It was pretty quiet in the bedroom, but not so much in the living area especially because of the... More

Recently stayed here for a week. It was like staying in a nice size apartment (which is what we prefer instead of a noisy hotel). Just outside the city limits makes this hotel very quiet. Great restaurant down the street and around the corner too!. Staff was very accommodating. Great free breakfast with fresh breads, meats, cheeses, and fruits.

My husband and I stayed for 10 days at the Aldrovandi City Suites in Rome , the suites were very spacious we chose the junior suite, we were very happy with the accommodation the only thing negative we have to say is it is a little way out for restuarants and the supermarket, it does mean you have to go... I read the reviews before my wife and I set off for our Rome four day break and was sceptical. How could any hotel be that good? Well post trip I have news, it can be. The room was spotless everyday and believe you me on holiday we aren't tidy people. The maid was superb, bed remade, towels sorted and... More

I stayed here September 9th to 17th and have no negative comments what so ever about the Aldrovandi Residence City Suites. The room (suite) was large and nicely furnished, with a full kitchen (perfect for cold drinks and snacks), comfortable large bed, with loads of closet space and storage and large modern bathroom. The staff was friendly, professional and helpful... More

Staying in Parioli

Neighborhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavor of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
