This was our 3rd trip to the Aberdeen in 3 years. Again, it was everything we expected and more. The hotel staff is exceptional, friendly, helpful and speak excellent English. They called taxis, made restaurant reservations, obtained Borghese Gallery tickets, took our bags to our rooms and generally went out of their way to assist us. Before I have been... more

We stayed at Hotel Aberdeen, Rome for 3 days on our arrival in Italy for three months. The hotel offered to arrange a flat rate driver to pick us up from the airport which we were glad we took advantage of. The driver was waiting on our arrival with a sign. He didn't speak English but had the address on... more

A nice place in a decent location with a helpful and accommodating staff. There are some issues with noise depending on the room so bring ear plugs just in case. It's an old building as most are in the area so this should not be a surprise. No internet in the rooms but provided in a separate location. You can... more

My wife and I stayed here as part of a Rick Steves tour. The room is expectedly on the small side, being in Rome. The bed was comfortable, we had a room right next to the stairs so we could hear passersby, but that did not bother us too much. Air conditioning worked great to keep the heat down, as... more

We arrived at Hotel Aberdeen for a 3 night stay and were warmly greeted by the gentelman on duty at the front desk. He advised us that our room would be ready in approximately 20 minutes (we were there 4 hours prior to check in time) and sure enough, in 20 minutes, the room was ready and our bags had... more

We were very, very happy with the Aberdeen. Clean, modern, quiet and well situated to metro and bus lines for easy access to all the sites, as well as the train station. The staff was extremely helpful – making dinner reservations, calling taxis – courteous and knowledgeable. The room was roomy and comfortable, the bathroom clean and modern. The breakfast... more

I stayed at this hotel because I was part of a tour group (Rick Steves). I checked in a day early, and couldn't have had a nicer stay. The room I had was roomy, with a full-sized bed, private bathroom, and refrigerator. The room was also air conditioned which was very nice after spending a day in the heat. The... more

I just returned from Rome, the 2nd time in 9 months. I stayed here both times-first with a tour, then by myself. I found the hotel to be a quiet oasis in a wonderful, but hectic city. The location is superb, you can get anywhere in Rome by bus or Metro easily from the hotel. The staff was very helpful... more

We stayed at Hotel Aberdeen for 5 nights in September 2009. This hotel was satisfactory and in a fine but slightly inconvenient location but at $260/night was way overpriced. We selected this hotel because Rick Steves suggested that the hotel and staff were personable which was not really the case. The desk staff was professional but did not greet people... more

Excellent location, close to transportation, you can walk to many tourist atracions. Service is great, it was our first time in Rome and the hotel personel made sure to provide us with all the information we needed to go around starting by a city map. Room was a good size, nice bathroom, confortable. If you travel with your loptop ask... more
