The hotel has a great location and is walking distance to the Spanish Steps, Coliseum, Pantheon and just about every attraction in Rome (even the Vatican was only a 25 minute walk). The hotel staff were the most helpful people I encountered in all of Italy, they had great food recommendations, and their unparalleled knowledge of how the area attractions... More

Hotel is located on the 4th floor of a building, no mention of this is made anywhere. Lift so small with great difficulty 2 persons and 2 cabin bags could fit in, foget about a suitcase. Rooms were dark and small. Shower room was for the average size person, it was impossible to close the shower doors and have a... More

Don't overlook this hotel because its 2* and B&B only! You really won't need anything more as there is so much to see and do in Rome. The three best attributes of this hotel are (1) the staff are friendly, professional and extremely helpful; (2) its rooftop terrace where a great continental breakfast can be enjoyed, more than enough to... It's hard to fault this wonderful hotel. The location is hard to beat with everything so close at hand. The staff work hard to make sure your stay is as good as it possibly can be and offer great suggestions for restaurants and sightseeing. We stayed with our family - six adults - and are already thinking of returning. Thank... More

Just returned from rome after a couple of days relaxing. This hotel location couldn't of been in a better location.... At first don't be put of by the enormous green doors of the main road ..... It's not the best decor I've seen but everything you needed was available basic but clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Spanish... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights to celebrate a friend's birthday. A delightful hotel. B&B the only option but it's all about the location. A 5-minute stroll from an amazing amount of historic sights. 10 minutes from the Colleseum. But what made it special for us was the management and staff. A very warm and friendly team. Good continental... More

The holiday my daughter and I have just had was amazing, She flew from Australia and we spent 5 wonderful days together. And what made it special was the Hotel Parlamento in Rome, although the rooms were a little small the hotel staff were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms were spotless and couldn't fault them... More

We have visited visited Rome several times and stayed at this hotel on all but our first visit. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms comfortable & clean: the best are the terrace rooms, breakfast is a bit repetitive but good to start the day. However the best thing about this hotel is the very central location, within walking... More

Great hotel for the good price with fantastic service och warm nice personnel, perfect location in the center with an awesome view, great breakfast... you feel the soul of Rome staying there. We walked to visit Vatikan, Collisseum, Forum Romanum, Pantheon. In the middle of great shopping and surrounded with amazing restaurants. You can ask the personnel about the sights,... More

5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2015

We stayed five nights in early March with our adult daughters and their partners. The hotel was excellent: the rooms comfortable, clean and well-furnished, the breakfast good, and the staff very friendly and helpful (even when we unpacked into the wrong room by mistake!). Parlamento is very convenient for many tourist locations - we walked to several - and there... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
