This hotel is a great find in a great location. It is within walking distance to all sites. It is extremely clean and welcoming. The best part of the hotel is the staff! Our compliments to Andrea... your helpful advise and service will never be forgotten! We highly recommend this hotel .. you will not be disappointed. Ciao Andrea! From... More

We stayed here for 3 nights during our Honeymoon in Europe. The best thing about this hotel is the location. Literally walking distance from every major attraction in Rome. While the hotel was hard to find (our driver had a hard time locating the property) and the elevator was so small it only fit me, my suitcase and my carry... More

My ATM card was taken by a nearby bank! Chris at the desk left and went with me to the bank and translated so the problem could be resolved. I have never experienced such help from any staff in the many hotels and motels I have visited. Just a great staff and great place to stay. Amazingly helpful staff!!

Family owened hotel but very professionally run.We are family of four and only stayed for 2 nights. But we felt at home. Clean, charming . Great plus having breakfast on the... More

The entrance can be off putting and a little confusing - you must ring a bell and there is not much signage. The staff is friendly and helpful and the air-conditioning was fine in 100 degree heat once it was paid for and turned on(6 Euro). Showers are rather small.

The hotel is in a cental location although it is very quiet due to good soundproofing. The room we had was small and basic, and we had to pay additonal fees for air conditioning which was surprisingly not included. Our room was cleaned every day, and staff were friendly to us however I believe breakfast was lacking as I did... More

Quaint, typical, Roman hotel. Had a European style breakfast (included) every morning. Wonderful location and easy walking access to major attractions (Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, museums) as well as being close to great shopping. We loved the location of our room (paid a little extra for the room to have access to the patio area). Make sure you request extra pillows... More

2nd time in this hotel, the 1st many years ago (1998!) we had a better experience and a bigger room. This time it was small and, more upsetting, with the door of the bathroom which did not close properly (no key, so there was a little part of it staying open in any case). The breakfast was really basic and... More

Cute hotel in the heart of the city, however I would not recommend this for a family. We had a "triple" room, which was a double bed with a rock hard rollaway at the foot of our bed. Our room also opened directly out to the lobby/reception desk which made us uncomfortable opening our door. Do not forget to ask... More

We have recently completed our fifth stay at Hotel Parlamento; our choice whenever we visit Rome. The hotel is ideally located near the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Piazza Novona. It is a family run hotel. When you stay there you are treated like one of the family. Always a friendly face to answer questions and meet your needs. It... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
