Interesting "hotel" In Italy any place with more than 7 rooms can be called a hotel, so be prepared. Parliamento was the biggest accommodation disappointment of our 5 week holiday in Europe. The weather in Rome was a scorching 40c luckily I had booked an aircon room, unfortunately the aircon couldn't cope and was blowing hot. When I mentioned it to... More

Once again I spent Christmas week in Rome at Hotel Parlamento. When staying in Rome, it is my personal preference, even though I am familiar with many fine hotels there as I have been a travel agent for nearly 40 years. The hotel is centrally located, comfortable and clean. Due to its security system, I would highly recommend it to... More

I was very satisfied with my stay at the hotel in october 2015. Lovely situated in the middle of Rome with walking distance to everything - very close to the Spanish Steps (metro) and the corso (shopping). Very good service, as you for instance can come and go in the middle of the night - and there is still a... More

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. This visit was our first to Rome (and Italy as it happens) and we wanted a hotel which suited our intention to walk where possible to see the main attractions. The location of the hotel was perfect. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable with excellent English. We paid for a superior... More

The hotel has a great location and the staff were very friendly. They serve a simple breakfast, but with all the food we planned to have for lunch and dinner it was ok. They claimed to offer wifi in the rooms, but it was not available in our room 8 meters from the reception. At the same time the bed... More

This hotel is on the 4th floor of an old building, but it is cozy and friendly and within walking distance of most things you want to see while in Rome. The only drawback is that once you get off the elevator, you do have to go up another flight of stairs to get to your room. If you have... More

My husband and I have just returned from a 4 night stay in this lovely little hotel right in the centre of Rome. It is a small family run hotel with simple yet clean rooms, very friendly staff and a lovely breakfast each morning. The best thing about hotel parlamento is its location. Its right in the heart of Rome... More

Enjoyed a long weekend at the Hotel Parlemento. our room was on the 4th floor which is accessible by a very small lift or if you were feeling energetic many marble steps. The room was basic but had everything we needed. Basically we just need somewhere to put our luggage and sleep so this was ideal It was clean and... More

I actually came to this hotel about 5 years ago and for our group of students it was very nice. Now, 5 years later the hotel went very downhill from the last time I was here. I came with my mom and she felt unsafe, felt the hotel was dirty, and service poor. We left immediately and refused to stay... More

Dear TripAdvisor readers. I have already answered privately to this nice (young) gentleman (he tried to exchange a money refund for a good review using these words, "I am kindly requesting a full refund, I posted a very kind note on trip advisor 5years ago and am hoping to post another great review if we are able to settle this... The location of Hotel Parlamento is fantastic. Right between the Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, and Pantheon; everything is within walking distance. Rooms are pretty small but who cares with a location this great and so much to see in Rome! The rooftop terrace was a great place to have a bottle of wine, which you can purchase from reception. Service... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
