The holiday my daughter and I have just had was amazing, She flew from Australia and we spent 5 wonderful days together. And what made it special was the Hotel Parlamento in Rome, although the rooms were a little small the hotel staff were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms were spotless and couldn't fault them... More

We have visited visited Rome several times and stayed at this hotel on all but our first visit. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms comfortable & clean: the best are the terrace rooms, breakfast is a bit repetitive but good to start the day. However the best thing about this hotel is the very central location, within walking... More

Great hotel for the good price with fantastic service och warm nice personnel, perfect location in the center with an awesome view, great breakfast... you feel the soul of Rome staying there. We walked to visit Vatikan, Collisseum, Forum Romanum, Pantheon. In the middle of great shopping and surrounded with amazing restaurants. You can ask the personnel about the sights,... More

We stayed five nights in early March with our adult daughters and their partners. The hotel was excellent: the rooms comfortable, clean and well-furnished, the breakfast good, and the staff very friendly and helpful (even when we unpacked into the wrong room by mistake!). Parlamento is very convenient for many tourist locations - we walked to several - and there... More

I have stayed at the Hotel Parlamento on 2 previous occasions and loved it. However, on arrival last time I was told they had overbooked and sent us to another hotel nearby which was not nearly as good. There was very little apology and certainly no mention of a refund. Although visiting Rome again later this year I am reluctant... More

Dear Guest , i'm Plinio Chini owner of Hotel Parlamento; i'm disappointed too about your review because all the reservations are guaranteed by credit card or deposit and we never never go overbooking ; i don't remember your case of October 2014; please send me an e-mail with our confirmation to hotelparlamento@libero.it Best regards Plinio Chini More

I haven't stayed at Hotel Parlamento for nearly 10 years and it was like visiting your family. Truly welcoming, helpful and still professional. It is very well located close to all the major sites, shopping and fabulous restaurants within walking distance. The staff recommended a few restaurants close by whilst we were there and we not disappointed. Whilst breakfast is... More

Back in 2003 I started to travel on my own, and my first city to tackle solo was Rome. I fell in love with it instantly. I've been back once a year, sometimes twice, and I always stay at Parlamento. I originally discovered it in an issue of National Geographic Traveler Magazine where they had an article "Top 10 Hotels... More

We stayed here for a long weekend for my birthday and this hotel was brilliant. The staff were friendly and very helpful, explaining where everything was. The room itself is very small but on a city break this is all you need as you are not in the hotel that much. The breakfast was a standard continental breakfast and could... More

HIGHLY recommend this hotel. I visited Rome with 2 girlfriends in May 2014 and intially selected this hotel because of location. IT WAS PERFECT! We walked alot and this is centrally located. Staff was amazing! They helped with restuarant reservations, shops, arranging tour (and rules) at the Vatican, shuttles, etc. Breakfast was always great. Rooms are much smaller than we... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
