We stated at the guesthouse for 10 days in a doble room and we have spent a very good time. The hotel in located near the Vaticano´s city and the Sant Angelo´castell. Bus tops and metro are very near as well. Marta and her staff are lovely, helpful and all of them have a hug knowledgeable about the city and... More

Close to many museums and historical places. Very clean. The Staff was very helpful.and knowledgeable. Mrs. Marta, the owner, helped us to prioritize places to visit in and outside Rome. There is a shuttle that can takes you to and from the Airport to Marta's place becoming very handy for travellers.

I stayed here for one night on my way through Rome. The location is wonderful for walking to many of the usual sites. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room and the rest of the facility were clean and well kept. I would stay with them again for a longer period the next time I am in Rome.... More

We stayed at the guesthouse for 4 nights in a triple room. The room was pleasant but a little small. We couldn't really walk around between beds. Air con worked ok. We were given just enough toiletries and towels. It would benefit from updating. The curtains are just hanging but luckily there are shutters so not really a problem. The... More

For the price of the room, Marta is a great choice. The staff is helpful before and during your stay. The rooms are clean and quiet (I've only been on the courtyard side). The location is VERY convenient. I've had one average and one good experience with the shower but, regardless, I appreciate that they give you shampoo each day.... More

I've just spent 4 nights at Marta Guest House and cannot recommended it highly enough. I had a single room on the third floor (the hotel has rooms within apartments on the 1st and 3rd floors). The room was large with plenty of space, a wardrobe, chair and washbasin. The windows looked out onto the courtyard. The bathroom was small... More

This is a great place to stay. We have just returned from our fourth stay since 2009. Very comfortable clean rooms. Centrally located for Vatican and major monuments. Excellent, knowledgeable and helpful manager. Highly recommended !

Really lovely little guest house. Really well situated and perfect for all. Very clean, free wifi and the hosts are so helpful. So close to the centre of town and piazza navona. Would highly recommend and will return if I am ever in Rome again!

This is our third stay with Marta. We like it because it is clean and within walking distance of many tourist sites. It is also well priced. But the real reason we keep coming back is Marta. She is an engaged and friendly owner. You could not do better.

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
