For the price of the room, Marta is a great choice. The staff is helpful before and during your stay. The rooms are clean and quiet (I've only been on the courtyard side). The location is VERY convenient. I've had one average and one good experience with the shower but, regardless, I appreciate that they give you shampoo each day.... More

I've just spent 4 nights at Marta Guest House and cannot recommended it highly enough. I had a single room on the third floor (the hotel has rooms within apartments on the 1st and 3rd floors). The room was large with plenty of space, a wardrobe, chair and washbasin. The windows looked out onto the courtyard. The bathroom was small... More

This is a great place to stay. We have just returned from our fourth stay since 2009. Very comfortable clean rooms. Centrally located for Vatican and major monuments. Excellent, knowledgeable and helpful manager. Highly recommended !

Really lovely little guest house. Really well situated and perfect for all. Very clean, free wifi and the hosts are so helpful. So close to the centre of town and piazza navona. Would highly recommend and will return if I am ever in Rome again!

This is our third stay with Marta. We like it because it is clean and within walking distance of many tourist sites. It is also well priced. But the real reason we keep coming back is Marta. She is an engaged and friendly owner. You could not do better.

This was our 3rd visit to Rome. Marta Guest house is in a great location. The accommodation was clean and tidy and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. If you are looking for affordable accommodation in Rome, I would strongly recommend staying here.

Marta's Guest House, is exactly. that. A guest house, where you feel right at home. The staff will great you by name, always friendly and helpful. Right off Piazza Cavour, so the location is great for walking everywhere! The restaurant and store selection near by is great. The breakfast buffet, even though simple, quite complete. The room I got was... More

We had our holiday in Rome, this summer, and stayed for 10 nights in Marta Guest House. Incredible good service, with friendly English speaking staff, always ready to help with advise about where and how to get around in rome. Centrally placed, in walking distance from all attractions, and at the same time, isolated and free from exessive noice. We... More

Good location at a very affordable price. This is walking distance from the main train station and getting around is fairly easy. The place is in an old building and room and the toilet was clean. This place, however does not have a formal reception area and there is someone who waits for you at the gate when you are... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
