We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The location couldn't have been better - very near a lot of the main sights in Rome. However, this (and the friendliness of the staff) was the only redeeming feature. In the first room we had, the air conditioning didnt work and it was so small there was JUST room for a... more

Booked this hotel last minute via Easyjet website then looked at reviews on Trip Advisor and was definately expecting the worst. The hotel's greatest asset is definately the location - you are well placed for walking to most of the key sites, shops, bars, restaurants and public transport. The location on a main road does mean it is abit noisy... more

Supposed to be 4*. Grotty, shabby & terrible stench of sewerage. Rooms cramped & not cleaned, bathroom tiny, breakfast was only ok. Staff were lovely, this and the fact that it's smack bang in the city centre are only redeeming features. Not suitable for kids. more

I can't believe that a travel agent uses this hotel. It is horrible beyond belief - no hot water, tiny dark rooms(ours had no window, just a skylight), dreadful breakfast, unhelpful staff and the most hideous decor I haver ever encountered. There were no tariffs on the doors so I do not know what they charge per night but quite... more

We arrived at this "Hotel " and our first impression was correct .....what a dump !! I cannot honestly say what it is like to stay in this hotel, because we would never have stayed in this hotel under any circumstances !! If need be we would rather have spent the night under the stars!! We checked in and were... more

This hotel is a disaster. Here is our list of complaints: *toilet seat had large brown marks, which turned out to be scratches, although this is not what we thought at first... *toilet never flushed properly - more a bidet. Paper etc. always left in bowl. *Shower-head and connection fell on me while I was showering in microscopic bath. *Room... more

Any of the staff i had any contact with very helpfull, plus side was the location of hotel very close to the sites. If you get a cheap offer... more

I would like to categorically say, that this has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in!! I admit that the location is ideal, as everything is a short walk away, but that is no consellation for a room as dark as the London dungeon, an astronomical price for what it is and finally NO HOT WATER...... I... more

Stayed in Palio Bianco for 10 days in August 2004. Booked on Octopus.com for aprox £45 a night. It was advertised as a 3 star hotel - We struggled to find it at first and were a little anxious as it clearly isn't an official hotel. The first impression was more of that of a hostel than a hotel as... more

Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and yes as previous reports say the rooms are small, but hey your in Rome! who wants to stay in your room apart from to sleep! Could not fault the cleanliness of the rooms or small bathroom. We did not find it noisy (although we were on the 4th floor -& most of... more
