This is a great hotel in rome considering it is an expensive city and this hotel is reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and helpful with excellent english and were at the desk at all hours. The hotel is around the corner from the borghese gardens which are the best in rome. Food: They provide recommendations for restaurants and also... More

I really liked this little hotel that was very convenient to many of Rome's best sites (too bad both Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps are both under construction!). It has a nice dining area (breakfast and lunch; not sure about dinner...definitely not on Sundays, the day we were there, as well as a lovely interior garden where we sat... More

Such a shame.. Great location, poor poor rooms, we had rooms 201 and 401. Picture a small room in your head... Now halve it... Wait.... Halve it again, a kennel would have been a more appropriate term for these rooms. No it's not cozy, no its not quaint, just plain old fashioned - Small. Originally tried to book the apartment... I stayed here for 4 nights in May 2014, at the end of a week's charity hike to Rome. It was the perfect way to end my trip. The staff are attentive, fluent in English, and the rooms are lovely, most with balconies. The rooftop larger room was amazing - I'd recommend that if your budget can afford it. I... More

I enjoyed my vacation in Rome and the Hotel Modigliani helped with a great Location, clean rooms, good breakfast and friendly staff. The price was reasonable. The staff called for taxis for me. I would stay here again.

Like others, we booked this hotel on the advice of Tripadvisor reviewers and Rick Steves. We're so glad we did. After two weeks of touring France and Italy, Rome was our last stop on our visit to Europe. And the Modigliani was the perfect hotel to end our trip. Comfortable, stylish and so close to many of the places we... More

My wife and I just spent three days in Rome at Hotel Modigliani. The staff was wonderfully courteous and helpful, the rooms were clean and well-appointed, and the location is superb. We will definitely stay there on our next visit to Rome.

We just returned from a fabulous 2 weeks in Italy and France. Our first 3 days where spent in Rome at the Hotel Modigliani. This was a Rick Steves recommendation and it is now one of mine. The Hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and very helpful. Our room had a small balcony with a great... More

Stayed here in May and fell in love with the place. It became my home away from home and the staff and fellow guests were like a temporary family. The courtyard is a haven within the bricks and mortar of central Rome and our top floor twin room also had a fabulous view across the city. Breakfasts were amongst the... More

We stayed at the hotel Modigliani during the Spring of 2012. It was wonderful. We loved the location and walked everywhere from there. There were a few room options that fit our family of five, something that wasn't easy to find in Rome at a good price! There are OUTSTANDING restaurants near the hotel, suggested to us by the staff... More
