Good location, close to underground but about 45 minute walk to Vatican - we were able to walk everywhere. Staff very helpful. At the top of a town house. Good rooms, a bit noisy from other people's rooms. Breakfast was ok - continental style in restaurant next door.

Dear Fimckay thank you very much for sharing your very good review about your stay at Dharma Hotel. The Vatican is not located in the city centre. To reach the Vatican Area, you must get the Metro around the corner and you are there in 10 minutes. Other sites (the Spanish steps, Trevi, Colosseo) are in 12/15 minutes walking distance... More

Hotel Dharma is a nice boutique hotel located near the Roma termini (approximately 5 to 10 mins walking). The hotel staff made you feel welcome upon arrival. He show us to the room and gave us an orientation of the room. The furnitures are modern and nicely decorated. We felt that the room was warm but we sorted it out... More

Hotel Dharma was everything we wanted -- and a PS3. My fiance and I stayed at Hotel Dharma for our 3 night stay in Rome. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by Daniella, who assisted with our luggage, pulled out a large map and advised us of things we could do that evening and suggested itineraries for the... More

Dear Yvonne P thank you very much for sharing your excellent feedback, we appreciate your kind effort very much. We are very glad you enjoyed our service and our hotel comfort. Yes you are right, there are not many late night eateries, but this is quite usual for the city of Roma. You can find some late night shops open... More

Good hotel, big rooms, well equipped, very clean and cool bathroom. The staff are awesome and welcoming. It's about 20~30 minutes walk to the pantheon. The hotel include good breakfast. The price is fair and we enjoyed the time there.

We needed a room for just one night for ourselves and our daughter and chose based on price and location (near Termini). We would have been happy staying here much longer. Well appointed, nicely designed, friendly and helpful staff. My only criticism would be that there's minimal furniture in the room, but overall highly recommended.

Dear Dtieder thank you for your feedback. We are sorry you did not fully enjoyed your 1-night stay in our hotel. Not clear if you were expecting a different room or suite. Your booking was for a Standard Double - Single Use room, it means basic service. No Hot Tub or Steambath included in the room. We are sorry you... More

We stayed five nights in two adjacent rooms in Nov 2014. Our rooms were tastefully decorated. The bathroom doors are innovative having life size prints of sculptures; doubling up as a beautiful art displays. One of our rooms had a balcony, with two beautiful sculptures, facing Via Torino and it was enjoyable for me to watch people walkby in the... More

We stayed here in Dec 14 for our honeymoon and would 100% recommend it and would love to return. We stayed in Room 501 for our first night which was the junior suite as a treat to ourselves. It was incredible and included a balcony, steam room/shower and a jacuzzi. After this we moved to room 504 and weren't disappointed.... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
