Our plan for Rome was to spend a few nights near the Piazza Navona and then finish off our experience in the Pigneto. My husband found a B&B and our adventure was to begin. Oh how happy I am that he made this choice. Abitazione Pigneto is a LOVELY B&B with the most amazing hosts. We stayed in the matrimonial... More

Being a lifelong wanderer and having travelled to Rome more times than I can count, I wanted a different experience this time. I usually stay around Piazza Navona, which is lovely and central, but my love for Italian cinema brought me to the Pigneto area on my visit last Oct.for a few hours of shooting photos and visiting Cafe Necci.... We loved our stay at Abitzione Pigneto! Firstly, the warmth of our hosts, Georgio and Favio, made us feel at home straight away. They were very kind and generous, and as other reviewer have said, they went out of their way to make sure you are happy. It does feel more like the reception you would receive from family! The... Abitazione Pigneto is located about 7 tram/bus stops from Stazione Termini ( Tram 5 or 14 ). It is an apartment on 4th floor adopted for B&B with 3 rooms to rent. The Kitchen and balcony was used by all inhabitants. We stayed ( 3 adults ) in the room called Camera Patronale. It is one room with one double... More

When you get over the WOW-factor of Rome, and you're through all your excess cash, and you want to walk in the footsteps of real, live, everyday, bohemian Rome, then it's time to lay low in this little B&B for a few days. As many people before me have quite accurately stated, Fulvio and Giorgio are two of the best... More

My trip in a nutshell: I flew in from Vienna, thinking that my next connecting flight to Istanbul would leave the next day, and I was already planning to sleep in the airport and not give a frack. Fail. Turned out I was dyslexic and found out that my flight was scheduled the day AFTER. Obviously I wouldn't want to... More

Giorgio and fulvio are crime fighting heros guarding the honour of their guests. The B&B is in a trendy area that is very good for eating, drinking and socialising. We were made to feel very welcome, it was like staying with old friends. We stayed in the ensuite room and were not troubled by the noise at all. And, regarding... More

I stayed here for almost 3 weeks while I was in Italy. I've been before, but always stayed in more touristy hotels in the middle of Rome. Now I won't stay anywhere else. The neighborhood was great -a real mix of middle class Romans, artists, etc. After a while I would start running into people I knew from one place... More

Having never been to Italy, or Rome for that matter, we felt we needed a bit of "hand holding." When I read online that Giorgio could pick us up at the airport, for a respectable fee, it tipped our decision to go with Abitazione Pigneto. Giorgio waited for us outside the airport as we navigated thru confusing directions inside the... More
