after moving out of our terrible accommodation at Villa Habsburg we chose this hotel and were really happy with the staff, room and location of hotel. It was pure luxury compared to what we had experienced. The staff particularly were the most friendly and helpful we have experienced. Will come again. Many thanks.

Situated close to the railway station, within walking distance of the colosseum, and with good restaurants nearby this hotel. Our standard bedroom was a bit small, with little space at the foot of the bed, but had a large bathroom with modern fittings. Very clean. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, and an excellent breakfast. We stayed 3 nights and... More

Stayed here during our vacation in Rome, Italy in Dec 2013. We had the Deluxe Room with Balcony and this is the room you must have for those who enjoy smoking. The room we had was clean and fine. The bathroom fixtures came with a bathtub but with no shower faucet. They provided the hand shower but with no fixture... More

I chose the hotel because of closeness to the station(around 5min walk from train station) and availability of a standard room with a bathtub. The only thing I didn't expect was that I booked the twin room with a bathtub but no ''shower'' in the bath room when I got there. I've never seen the room with no shower in Europe.... More

truly fine , professionally run hotel. you can spend a great deal more for an hotel in rome but receive a great deal less. our only complaint would be that the breakfast room is too small to accomodate a full compliment of guests , with the result that you may find yourself waiting for a table.

We stayed for only one night but it was a very good experience. T Out room was very modern and comfortable. The beds were excellent and it was great to have a powerful, hot shower. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. If we had time we would have used the rooftop terrace which was an added bonus.

On my 1st trip to Rome my father and I stayed at Hotel Alpi. We were very nicely welcomed by Carla and her male collegae. They gave us information about the area, restaurants and places to go. We also got a complimentary bottle of champagne since I was celebrating my bday in Rome. Our room was VERY nice and clean,... More

Hotel Alpi is a pleasant oasis in a slightly mad city. Staffed by friendly people pleased to provide advice and willing to help, the environment is clean, efficient and up to date. There are small outdoor areas and a well kept overall feel. Certainly some of the rooms are small but they are well maintained as are the recently re-modeled... More

The hotel features deluxe, superior and standard rooms and our party occupied one of each. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the shower was outstanding. Hotel staff, headed by Carla Angeloni, was friendly and helpful. Good restaurants were an easy stroll away, as were taxis and the railroad station for public transport. Overall would recommend it highly.

On arrival we were greeted by the male receptionist with an attitude, room was not ready which was fine as we were early but all the man was interested in was getting us to buy a ticket for £30 each for the bus tour and after being awake since 3am and travelling was not on our list of priority. We... More
