Great location, right next to Termini station, with a really kind staff, spacious and confortable rooms (I'm already missing my 3 pillows bed and nice shower) and a breakfast with large options. For those afraid of the location, I assure you it is not noisy and there is always people in the streets until 9 pm.

So close to the Train Station Termini, with underground 5 min to center of Rome. Good Breakfast, international. No Sat TV but wi-fi free and good. i sugest " IL NAZZARENO " and " DA VINCENZO ", very goods place to eat, tipical local dishes, the first is low-medium cost and the second medium-high cost

I actually visited this hotel in the beginning of 2015, January but did not find time for the review. Hotel: old with a poor maintenance, cheap furniture and linen everywhere or at least too used for being used anymore…. Staff: Night auditor- start shouting and pointing at me in an aggressive manner when I complained about the room that is... More

My boyfriend and i stayed at the Alpi hotel at the end of February this year for 4 nights and had an amazing time in Rome. The hotel reception was gorgeous and the rooms were equally as nice! We did have a problem with our air conditioning (room 301) and as our room got the sun most of the day,... More

Very good location near by railway station. We had family-room (4 person). 4th floor with balcony and very good view! Wonderful free breakfast. Only bad thing was that noice from the street was well heard in the room. But what else can you expect if you stay in the middle of the city? Earplugs to ears and sleep like a... More

Hotel Alpi is located about 5mins walk from Termini Station which makes it easily accessible from the airport. It is a gorgeous little Hotel, with all rooms (including bedrooms, reception, bar, dining) quite small but it all looks great. The Hotel staff were very friendly, especially Tonino at reception. The look of the hotel (full of marble and clean interiors)... More

This was an amazing hotel with wonderful breakfast and beautiful rooms. We stayed in room 155 which was a huge deluxe room with a small balcony. Lovely jacuzzi bath and small walk in wardrobe, couch in room also. Lovely large comfortable bed. The hotel was the icing on the cake for a fabulous long weekend in Rome.

Stayed here for four nights at the end of January and found it to be a bit of a mixed bag. First impressions of the hotel were good, the lobby is very nice and check was courteous and swift. We stayed in a superior room on the 3rd floor and off we went (via one of the smallest lifts in... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in February. Its a lovely hotel near to the centre of Rome, its location was also in walking distance to one of the 'hop on hop off' bus stops; meaning transport to the rest of the city was cheap and easy. The rooms were relatively small, but were perfect for a couple. Breakfast buffet... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
