This was an amazing hotel with wonderful breakfast and beautiful rooms. We stayed in room 155 which was a huge deluxe room with a small balcony. Lovely jacuzzi bath and small walk in wardrobe, couch in room also. Lovely large comfortable bed. The hotel was the icing on the cake for a fabulous long weekend in Rome.

Stayed here for four nights at the end of January and found it to be a bit of a mixed bag. First impressions of the hotel were good, the lobby is very nice and check was courteous and swift. We stayed in a superior room on the 3rd floor and off we went (via one of the smallest lifts in... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in February. Its a lovely hotel near to the centre of Rome, its location was also in walking distance to one of the 'hop on hop off' bus stops; meaning transport to the rest of the city was cheap and easy. The rooms were relatively small, but were perfect for a couple. Breakfast buffet... More

We stayed in a small room, clean, but insufficient room for a seat and for our luggage. an elevator, too small for such an hotel.Few envellops with soap. Nice bathroom and balcony The total was not 4 star worthy.

I stayed here for 5 days and had a great time. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really satisfying (tip - you can request for espresso, café lattes, cappuccinos, tea). I will definitely stay here again.

The location, near the train station, is convenient to go everywhere. The modern decoration is nice, and the staff is very friendly. There's no parking however, and the partner will charge 25€/day for it. The breakfast is good and copious.

Conveniently situated close to most sights in Rome. The food was good, the staff helpful, the price reasonable and the accommodation great. The rooms are not that large so two singles does not work well in these rooms though!

Myself and my wife stayed at the Hotel Alpi for Valentine's weekend, after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor we decided to reserve a room and we made a great choice. The location of the hotel is very well connected with 2 Metro Stations, Train, Taxi's Buses and Tour Buses nearby. The Hotel itself was small but superb, great rooms, terraces... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
