Very friendly staff. Every spot is so closed from the hotel! Breakfast was quite good! Hotel Grifo is one of the best in town! Ask Rosa for whatever you need! She is very nice! :) Would surely visit again and again and again! :)

Spent a few days here in June and appreciated how close everything was to this hotel. Very easy to walk to the metro station, bars, restaurants, etc. Helpful staff, tasty breakfast and wifi. The negatives? Very small space and complete lack of air conditioning during the hot summer made it difficult to spend much time in the room relaxing.

My wife and I visited Italy for three weeks last July and stayed at Hotel Griffo for 7 days. We really enjoyed it and thought the Hotel staff was awesome. They were very knowledgeable and gave us tips on which attractions to see and how to be effective spenders regarding attractions so they don't take all your money. The hotel... More

I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights while visiting Rome with my sisters. The staff is really friendly and helpfull and the complimentary breakfast had more than enough choice. For the people that don't think the choice is enough, you can order crambled eggs for the little amount of 50 cents. The city is easy to walk or take... More

Nice hotel, well located but small. The toilet area is very small and I wonder if the chubby would ease to pick up a bar of soap on the floor. The tables in the restaurant are small and tight. It's a charming hotel, but a small charm. Is in a region of easy access to metro and I really go... More

My wife and I arrived back early this morning - we had four nights at Hotel Grifo. It was excellent - just what we wanted for a city break - not at all expensive, but good breakfast with ridiculously cheap prices for extras like 0.5 euros for scrambled eggs, or slices of cured ham or turkey or toast. The shower... More

I will start with the good - location....and thats about it now the bad - the place is not clean at all. our room was extremely dusty, causing us to sneeze uncontrollably, there is mould on the walls, there was blonde hairs everywhere, even though neither me and my wife are blonde... room stunk when we walked in, toilet doesnt... When arriving to hotel Grifo we were immediately greeted by one of the friendly reception staff, who spoke good English. She gave us a map of Rome and highlighted all the best routes, attractions and food places. All of her suggestions were fantastic, especially "Pompi" tiramisu specialists! The hotel itself is fantastically located; less than a 10 minute walk from... More

Hotel Grifo is a friendly and well situated hotel. It is located close to the Roman Colosseum and all the other sightseeing places are within walking distance. The room itself was fine but it was always cold as the heating system was inefficient and the bathroom was totally unheated and was freezing. There was a lack of basic things in... More

My girlfriend and me planed to sleep in this very well located hotel but our flight was canceled. The service decided to not charge the amount of the first night !!! very kindly and rare. We will find an other day to go to Rome someday and will booked again in Hotel Grifo for sure !
