I had a very good stay in this place. The room + bathroom were clean and it had a good airco (very important in Rome), tv, hair dryer and a wifi sign that worked, but in specific parts of the room. The breakfast was very simple (croissant, cake, juice, coffee, tea, butter, toast), all not fresh - from packages. We... More

We got a pretty good deal for five people in a nice room. The place is very clean, has air conditioning, tv and minibar. It's on walking distance to the Colosseum, Cavour Metro station and the Roma Termini train station. We had some trouble the day we checked out coming back on time to get our luggage (like most B&Bs,... More

I've read some of the damning reviews of this little B&B and just can't relate to them. We had room 2 which was fine for a family of 4, which we are. We needed somewhere to sleep and keep our gear in while we explored Rome and not a hotel in which to hide all day. The room had an... More

Clean room in a great location. Limited choice for breakfast but what we expected. Short walk to the nearest metro and very close to collesseum and the main train station. Room decor could do with an update and the bathroom is very small but clean and comfortable for a short stay in rome

This is a B&B, not a hotel : don't be scared if you don't see any sign in the street : ring at the door on number 211 of Via Cavour. Great location : Cavour Metro station is 50m from the door, and the B&B is 15' walk from the Colosseo The B&B is on the 5th floor with a... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
