Hotel Tre Stelle is a 3* hotel with a very good location, walking distance to Termini railway station and with a supermarket in front open 7/7 from 8:00 till 22:00 . The rooms are clean, have a private bathroom and a very quit split type air condition. For breakfast you get a croissant, small bread with jam and butter, 1... More

Stayed in the Tre Stelle hotel last autumn. I can't say it was great, but it was clean, quiet, and price affordable. Staff was friendly, ready to help. What is great about this hotel- it's location. Nearby is Termini station, which is where you get all your transportation- subway, buses or airport train. It's not too close, but in walking... More

I have been away at least once a year for the past 25 years and have never stayed at any hotel that is less than a 3 star hotel. I only booked this hotel as it was advertised as a 3 star and was really cheap however I would only rate it as a 1 star. We stayed at the... More

I try to be fair with my reviews, so I can say that this hotel is in a great location, just about ok for one or two nights. The issues we had with it is the difficulty finding the rooms as the numbering and sinage is not obvious (or non -existant in our case) ended up carting luggage up and... More

I stayed here 4 days with my friends, the room was clean, staff was very friendly and nice, except the Russian woman working in the resting room. Breakfast was tasty. The hotel is in the center so we could go everywhere by walking. Honestly I never tried to watch tv to say how was tv or how many channels did... More

First of all, the hotel is easy to get to but not easy to find because it is not signed up very well. It is one of a few hotels that share an apartment dwelling - so if you decide to go, look for the sign that reads "Hotel Dolomiti" and the "Tre Stelle" reception is the small loby on... More

I really do not know where to start. Staff at reception NON professional and rude. Rooms, very basic. Bathroom, was not able to use the shower in case I got some sort of infection, it was dirty (to put it nicely) Breakfast, staff do not have a clue what hotel guests are. I have stayed at a lot of different... More

It's a nice hotel, near the center. You can go on foot to Termini Station. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. We stayed there with my son for seven nights and we felt like in a familiar place. The receptionists were very polite and friendly.

enjoyed reading all the reviews before my first visit in October and was relieved that my stay was actually quite nice. Having had such great time and knowing the hotel was inexpensive decided to go back again in the February. We stayed in the Queen Room situated just off the entrance hall. The amenities in this room were an improvement... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
