The hotel was okay, service was very friendly and kind. We could leave the luggages in the hotel last day. The room was ok, air conditioned. View is very tipical, location is very good, short walk from the Termini Station. Breakfast was included, but disapointing.. only sweet things, but the coffee was perfect.

Lets start - the receptionist didnt show us our room, he just showed us the elevator and that was it.. we were looking for 10 minutes for our room. There was no Wifi in the room. The view from the window was okay, additionally the location of the hotel is very good (market on the opposite side, close to Termini).... More

We booked this hotel last minute for our last night in Italy. We wanted central for an easy trip to the airport and this hotel was REALLY cheap. For the money it was okay. As long as you don't mind springy beds (you can feel the metal springs on your ribs), dirty bathroom floors, very interesting reception staff (can you... More

The place is really close to Termini ( Central Station) and you can walk your way home from any touristic place. Before going we read that the area of Termini is not safe but we had no problem. The room is small but cool and in summer that is a real plus. The shower is awful and old so that... More

Where to start - all the other negative reviews are true - I've stayed in many hotels and this was the worse one ! Picture of room advertised - I do not believe exists in that hotel - dingy, dark , thread bare , no air con as stated ,miserable staff , bed was from flint stones era - bathroom... More

This hotel is located a few minute walk from the Roma Termini, making it very convenient no matter you are arriving the city from the Airport or by train. There is nothing fancy about the hotel and everything is just standard. The room was not that spacious and it may be really hard if you have a big luggage. Also... More

Hotel Tre Stelle is a 3* hotel with a very good location, walking distance to Termini railway station and with a supermarket in front open 7/7 from 8:00 till 22:00 . The rooms are clean, have a private bathroom and a very quit split type air condition. For breakfast you get a croissant, small bread with jam and butter, 1... More

Stayed in the Tre Stelle hotel last autumn. I can't say it was great, but it was clean, quiet, and price affordable. Staff was friendly, ready to help. What is great about this hotel- it's location. Nearby is Termini station, which is where you get all your transportation- subway, buses or airport train. It's not too close, but in walking... More

I have been away at least once a year for the past 25 years and have never stayed at any hotel that is less than a 3 star hotel. I only booked this hotel as it was advertised as a 3 star and was really cheap however I would only rate it as a 1 star. We stayed at the... More

I try to be fair with my reviews, so I can say that this hotel is in a great location, just about ok for one or two nights. The issues we had with it is the difficulty finding the rooms as the numbering and sinage is not obvious (or non -existant in our case) ended up carting luggage up and... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
