We only stayed for one night and really wish it could have been for longer! As others have said, an oasis of quiet and serenity away from the crowds. A little disappointed in the afternoon tea provided 'free' to guests, we went downstairs at 16:15 (having been told that it was served between 16:00 and 18:00) and there was a... More

Great boutique hotel. First class staff to help you out. We arrived early, our bags were kept for us. Room was good except we got the last room. I think it was handicap friendly but the shower splashed out a bit due to big openings. Toilet seat was a little high too. Staff kept place clean and nice. Great buffet... More

It's peaceful, you're taken care of by lovely people, the morning buffet is excellent. No need to hear the chaos of tourist traffic. In a special "tourist-less" part of Rome where you can stroll down to available transit of all kinds to get to the special places you'd like to visit OR dine.

It has been few years since we stayed in this fabulous hotel. The locations is perfect . In the morning, on a way to the Vatican we stopped on the top of the old walls and Rome is in front of you, Vatican in a distance, the river ... We very lucky and found few very good restaurant in the... More

This hotel is incredible stylish and romantic, a true boutique hotel. I can't describe the decor and to it's beauty justice...it's a mix of old and modern, all done very tastefully. We stayed here twice in two weeks...3 nights upon our arrival in Italy, and 1 night before our departure. We had a premium room for the 3 nights and... More

This is a first class hotel in a lovely quiet corner of Rome within easy walking distance to the city center. To make it even better the staff are friendly and very helpful. All the rooms are different but ours had a small balcony facing the side of the hotel, the room was a decent size and the bathroom had... More

I don't think my trip to Rome would have been nearly as magical if I had stayed in another hotel. Hotel San Anselmo was beautiful and luxurious, large rooms with tall ceilings, beautiful gardens and patios and an extravagant full breakfast every morning. We stayed in Imperiale Loggia, which has it's own balcony, a spacious bathroom, and old world charm.... More

A beautiful hotel in a quiet residential area. The staff are all very helpful and very friendly. They booked tours, guided us whenever we needed it, and called cabs for us. Our room was beautiful with a marble bath and patio overlooking the roofs and neighbourhood on top of Aventine Hill. Very good breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel... More

My husband and I spent the last 3 nights of our 2 week honeymoon here. We had an amazing time! The location is great- being just outside of the main area of Rome. It was perfectly convenient to walk anywhere we wanted to within Rome, but came back to a nice quiet room in a quaint neighborhood. The complimentary breakfast... More

This was a great hotel. The grounds were lovely and eating breakfast in the gardens every morning was a great way to start the day. The staff could not have been nicer, expecially vincenzo and Sonny. The location was within walking distance to the Forum and the Colosseum but was in a very quiet location.
