Nice little hotel in Rome, a fair bit away from the city centre. Requires either a long walk or a train (station located quite close) to get to where you need to be. Breakfast was amazing. Possibly one of the best buffets I have had in Italy. Extended to more than just your European breakfasts. Rooms were clean and wifi... More

I do not recommend this hotel. The room did not look anything like the photos. We were in the old section of the building and our room was infested with Mosquitos. You could see that others who had stayed in this room previously had killed mosquitoes on the wall.

The hotel is 5 min walking from Polyclinico metro station(2 stations from Termini), and the neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. The rooms were small with nice bathrooms, and very clean.I think the housekeeping did a great job The reception staff is just ok, very stuck to the rules, not flexible and not very friendly.Poor information given to the guests..We asked how... I recently stayed at this hotel as part of a Topdeck tour. The hotel was quite clean, had great working air conditioning, wifi was a little spotty, but wasn't too far from a metro station or eating options. The staff was quite nice and I would think of staying here again if on my own.

We booked this hotel and expected a good 2nights stay as our last destination in Italy. Unfortunately it was horrible. We got a double room in the 2nd building and it was anything but 4* standart.Poor room facilities, dirty wall, we found red ants in the bed, the worst air-conditioning i've ever seen. In the room we could not connect... More

By mistake I reserved a room for the month of October instead of September in this hotel and one in Madrid, Orbitz and I call within less than 24 hours just to switch the month. For Madrid there was no problem and immediately switch the month but for Hotel Villa Torlonia they said NO. I have not been able to... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed here last week. The hotel was beautiful. Our room was perfect for us. Comfy bed. Air con which we could leave on all day which was a god send seen as it was 37 degrees outside while we were there. The staff were very helpful. We wanted to go to pompeii for the day and... More

Stayed here on two occasions during a tour. The first time in a room with one other and the second time on my own. Hotel is clean but the rooms rather dated. Fridges had all been removed in the wing I stayed in. Beds were comfortable and air conditioning worked really well meaning for a cool night sleep. Staff organised... More

Quiet location with a good nights sleep. The windows basically black out with their special window doors. McDonalds and a few restaurants close by and Metro station a 5min walk. The free breakfast was average. Negatives; I have never used a shower towel as worse as the ones at Villa Torlonia. These feel like a mix between sandpaper and cardboard.... More

Very simple, nice location, great breakfast. It was not far away from the Ethiopean embassy, which I had to go to. I would definately recommend this place if you're interested to stay in that area. I loved the variety of pastry for breakfast.
