We paid around EUR 120 / night which was reasonable value given location (10 - 15 minute walk to Monti district for decent bars / restaurants) and good size room (number 5). Room design very modern but minimalist, so don't expect any luxuries like extra pillows on the bed. Niggles were limited toiletries (just hand soap and shampoo), a broken... More

The apartment is located in a quite, but centrally area. It was clean and the staff was very helpful. This said, it was not easy to sleep with the noisy air conditioning. The WiFi connection was not very good at our room.

Good sized room for 2 people, safe and good location for sightseeing (not as close to Trevi & Spanish steps as I had thought from the map, but still walkable). Only issue with the room (i think we were in room 5) was the levelling of the bathroom floor - water would overrun the shower area towards the sink &... More

We were excited our visit to Rome and the pictures of our accommodation looked modern and sleek. If you are staying here you must let them know when you arrive or like us will be stranded outside not knowing what to do. Once rescued and after a day of traveling we were desperate for a shower. I thought it was... More

Stayed at this hotel for one night, had a pleasant stay. Locality is good, about half a mile from the station. The room was modern, clean & comfortable. It actually had pantry kind of facility as well with sharing, fridge & oven although we didn't use! The only thing there was no milk sachet/milk powder with tea & coffee facilities,... More

We booked this hotel two months in advance with the request to get two separate beds and were eventually upgraded to suite number 5, the biggest, with its own balcony. We arrived at 11 in the morning after an early flight and despite check-in opening later in the afternoon, were friendly helped with checking in and were told our room... More

Great room with lots of space, confy, clean and worm since the air conditioner works and it can be regulated. Excellent location, near metro. Great experience if you're an independent person or couple because there is no shcedule to enter or leave the room. On a down note, the water is not really hot, the WiFi signal is weak in... More

Very bad experience with this place. Apparently, it's an apartment building, where you need a code to get in. I arrived at 10pm on saturday and nobody was there to check me in.I had to get a room at a nearby hotel. Next morning at 9am I call the 2 cell phone numbers listed on the door for the office... Hallo, I'm sorry that you experienced some troubles during your check in. Late check in is a free automatic service that we offer to our customers (instead of concurrence which often it makes it pay 50 euro or more). It's your main concern, overall when you're checking in out of office hours, to read instructions where are clearly written info... More

We stayed in Urben for 6 days and 7 nights. We were told that they accepted credit card for payment, but when we arrived were told we had to pay half credit and half cash or incur a 10 percent credit card fee. we told them it was very inconvenient but we still did it. We were in room 4,... More

Dear customer, nobody have or will ask for you a surtax of 10% on your credit card. We've fixed 300 euro as minimum limit to pay by credit card. That's clearly written on your reservation. As many little hotel don't offer credit card facility, we do, but representing a major cost (2,5% in charge of the hotel) we had to... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
