Very attractive, 'boutique-style' hotel right in the heart of Rome. First of all-to make the things clear-It's difficult to judge where the hotel rating comes from and the system used to reward it but it's DEFINATELLY NOT A 4* HOTEL. I stayed here for 8 days early April, busy season in Rome. But staff were fantastic as they were juggling lots of gueats in and out. Room well appointed. nice bar downstairs, close to lots of retaurants and walking distance to Spanish Steps and local sights and shopping. More

Actually chose this hotel by checking with Trip Advisor, We arrived with train+ taxi from the cruice terminal in Civitaveccia (maiden voyage for Celebrity Silhouette). Hotel Homs appears to be recently refurbished and is truly the new gem of Rome. The rooms are beautiful and finely furnished. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location in in the midst of the major attractions, Trevi. Pantheon, Coliseum and Vatican City. Restaurants of all types are plentiful within walking distance. Highly recommended. More
