We loved it ! The staff was great, very helpful and nice. The room was spacious and very pleasant. The location is amazing. 100meters from the Spanish steps in a beautiful small street with great restaurants around. Very good shopping all around

Visit Rome for a week and stay at Hotel Homs , the room is very clean and breakfast buffet is alright, although we book a non smoking room but still smell some other guest smoking at room. Hotel is 5 minutes walk to Spanish steps and 15 minutes walking distance to the St, Angle Castle and River Tiber. 20 minutes... More

I stayed in Homs Hotel. Which is located in the centre of everything In Rome. The rooms are small but in keeping with most of Rome's style. The price per night was good and restaurants are all around. A great one directly over the street and also gelati right opposite the front entrance. Great place to be when in Rome.

The location is priceless, check in was very friendly and fast. The room was anoyingly small. Even we asked in advanced for a quiet, large room, we received the smallest on the floor and at the noisiest corner. When asked for a change, we were told the hotel was full...wich wasnt true... On the second day our room cards didnt... More

Before arriving at the hotel received an email saying it had not been paid when I booked online to be told this 3 nights before arriving is upsetting and the replies I got were very rude. Although the room was nice and clean so was happy with that.

Wow, where to start!.....I guess the arrival. Not at all the welcome you would expect at a hotel, no manners, just a rude bald guy (no name badge) that barked 'passports' no explanation of where things are located, no wi-fi password, no times for breakfast or even where it is located, we were just given a key to room 105... I always stay in the same small hotel in Rome but was unable to get a room on my recent visit. Some of the reviews of this hotel were perplexing and I was a bit apprehensive as to what I would find at the Hotel Homs. Surprise! It was great! My single room was small but very comfortable and spotlessly... More

Dispite a close location to the Spanish steps this hotel is offering an bad hotel experience. Rooms are very small, bathroom is very small . Everything in this hotel is poor maintained. During our visit all the cameras in the hotel where hanging. No concierge available. the floor in the room is old and fill with dust. Don't look anymore... More

Hotel Homs was perfect for my trip to Italy. It was located right by the Spanish Steps and close to the Metro which is so easy to use. The room was for a single person and was just the right size. The bed was very comfy but the pillows left a lot to be desired.

Granted, running a hotel in an old building is no easy feat. Rooms are all different in shape, some are rather nice, some are horrible, small and noisy (stay away from the lift!). The corridors' carpet is full of old chewing gum, and corridors' walls look quite battered. I was personally very happy with my room, but the hotel in... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
