Dingy rooms, the bed was barely sleep able. The AC was as loud as a truck. Th breakfast was terrible, the only thing going for it was the location, and that was pretty specific to my trip. I left after one night, even though I had already paid for two.

Dear Mr Singh, thank you for your review and for sharing your comments. It is a real shame to hear what an unpleasant stay you had with us, and the whole Team is very sorry about that. I am sure we would have done something for making your stay successful, if only you would have told how unsatisfied you were.... More

Stayed here with my partner for 7 nights in November 2015. It's a lovely small hotel, run by a nice multilingual father and daughter, with friendly and helpful staff. Our room was on the third floor up some steep stairs, which were a bit much after walking for several miles every day. There is thankfully a small lift, can just... More

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights for a short city trip. I went with my mother and her boyfriend. Because I travel normally with my husband I have no complications with our health. But my mother have health problems so to move around in Rome was a challenging. That's why I chose this hotel because the last time I... More

Me and my GF stayed for a weekend. The hotel is in a quiet location which still is pretty close to the city centre (20-30 min walk) as well as the vatican ( 10-15 min walk) Very friendly staff, clean rooms. There are plenty of restaurants nearby as well as a shopping Street (similar to the one in the city... More

Nice little hotel in a very good location. When in Rome, I prefer to stay off the overly crowded touristic city center somewhere across the river around Lepanto//Vatican area. It is in a way more residential, and more "Roman" if that is possible in Rome. Hotel is clean, room was nice, and despite the usually tiny hotel rooms in Rome,... More

Stayed here for three nights and thought the hotel was incredible value for money. It's walking distance from the Vatican and has a metro station literally around the corner. There are also shops and restaurants nearby. The staff were helpful and friendly, room was comfortable, bathroom/shower was always clean and breakfast was good! WiFi was fine for me throughout my... We selected this hotel based on the reviews here on Trip Advisor. The reviews were very favorable so we decided to stay at this hotel. First I will get to the pros. The hotel is in a great location. It is about a 15 minute walk to the Vatican. There is a Metro station that is literally right around the... More

Just returned from our 2nd stay at Hotel Gerber in just a little over 3 years. The Hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff is helpful and courteous. The rooms are small but comfortable & quiet. The breakfast is fair to good, the Cappucino delicious. The location is convenient to the Vatican area and Castel Sant'Angelo with many restaurants... More

Stayed here for three nights Couldn't ask for more for my money...I chose single room with shared bathroom, not been a problem, not had to wait to use it yet. The staff are incredibly polite, very friendly and nothing is a problem, excellent little 'chic' breakfast room with plenty to choose from to eat. Don't hesitate to stay here.

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
