The hotel where I normally stay in Rome was booked. This hotel popped up in a search in the same neighborhood. It's a lovely place. Friendly and helpful staff. I had a question about their parking feature, and was a bit suspicious because parking is a nightmare in Rome. The hotel got back to me on this immediately. They do,... More

Found this place by accident after I left the "4 star" down the street. Charming, clean and the internet works great. Breakfast on the rooftop was great. Walked to everything. Friendly staff and price was very reasonable.

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Farnese for five nights in April 2015. We selected this hotel because of the many five star reviews that we read. However, we found the hotel to be of a three star (average) hotel. It was not a bad hotel, it just was not as nice as we expected from the reviews. Our... More

Perfect located close to metro and some km from the most interesting places. Very nice and helpfull personal, quiet even if close to downtown Roma, good breakfast. Place for improvement: Internet not really accessible at all places, for ex. ground floor room no. 18. Price for stay should be shown on booking home page including city Roma tax (which is... More

We stayed at the hotel during the week after Easter. First of, the location is really good. Walking distance to Vatican, castle St. Angelo, piazza del Popolo etc. etc. The area is really quiet. The room we stayed in had a balcony, which was a nice touch. the room was nicely decorated. Free wifi! Breakfast had a good variety of... More

It's a gorgeous place. Easily accessible by subway/tube and the night receptionist seems like a person from another great age when receptionists were educated and interesting to chat to. Fits well to the entire hotel, it's like a mini version of the Grand Budapest Hotel (if you saw the film). So good to stay in a non-chain place. Breakfast was... More

Nice, clean and great location. Breakfast was wonderful too. Room was a bit small for the family but we made due and enjoyed our stay. Seems a a bit odd that they take your keys when you leave the hotel-- felt like some college dorm check in thing.

We stayed at the Hotel Farnese for a week starting on April 1st, 2015. The hotel staff was so accomodating especially Gabriella and Andrea. The room and balcony were very comfortable and convenient. Metro is around the corner and there were great restaurants within walking distance.

Bathroom excellent. Breakfast good, plenty to choose from. Staff not too knowledgeable, I had googled that St Peter's closed We'dnesday mornings, hotel told us no, only until... More

Very good location, within walking distance of the Vatican and the sights in the old city. Excellent staff, great breakfast, nice room with free wifi. Very good value for the price. Stayed for three nights just before Easter.

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
