A WARNING to anyone thinking of staying in this hotel to carefully CHECK if what you see on booking site is what the Hotel actually CHARGES. For 4 nights in a 2 bed room , at the end of October 2014,I had to pay 549 euro - booking .com and Hotel home page quoted-ca. 320 euro. My request for a... More

I'm lactose intolerant and the only thing they provided was a cream cheese I could eat and milk. They did not serve breakfast eggs/ham and you only got one pice of bread and one croissant per person. They offered me gluten free options but I had specifically requested lactose free breakfast when I made the reservation. BUT the location is... More

On arrival, we found the reception staff to be very friendly and helpful, even carrying our luggage up the staircase to the 4th floor. On request, we were easily relocated to the 2nd floor, which was much more desirable for obvious reasons. The hotel is charming and very central to the Jewish Quarter, with its fine choice of restaurants and... More

Our family travels quite regularly in Europe from the US and this is a nice, clean, two star hotel right in the middle of the older part of Rome. It is situated very close to the Jewish Quarter which was fun to visit and you are very close to the Pantheon area and even Trestavere. Room was clean, bath small... More

Great service. Great location. Again, great location. Great value. Short walk to Monumento Vittorio Emanuele. Walking distance to everywhere. Clean room. Comfortable bed and pillow. They arrranged a driver to meet us at the airport and rearranged when our flight changed. Good wifi. Fairly quiet. Breakfast was provided, and fresh and good. Room was basic, but everything we needed. Friendly... More

Great value for the location of this hotel - the old Jewish Ghetto is a neat place to stay. This hotel may have not had much "charm", it definitely felt more like a "hotel", but it had everything that we needed and we don't spend much time in the hotel anyway! The room was clean and simple and had a... More

We stayed at Arenula Hotel for 4 nights in October and had a great stay. It has a very good level for a 2 star hotel, don't expect too much but it's a great value hotel. Pros: location - everything is in walking distance, excellent wifi, very clean, nice service and helpful staff on desk and breakfast, safe in the... More

The outstanding feature of this hotel is the location. Minutes from the Jewish Ghetto (great food!), Campo de Fiori Market and close to most of Rome's major sites. The price is good, has an elevator, Wifi that actually works, comfortable. Overall a great hotel.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location right by the jewish getto. And of all the hotels you can chose in Rome, don't chose this one! It's just trerrible; Beds hard as a rock, the room and the blancets wasn't clean. Very noisy form the street. You couldn't deside when to eat breakfast, but where "booked in"... More

Excellent location, in the Jewish Ghetto, and very near Campo dei Fiori, Trastevere and Piazza Venezia. The staff were helpful. Other than that, the hotel is very modest. It has 4 floors without a lift, so if you are steps-weary I wouldn't pick this hotel. The rooms were tiny, but well-equipped. Breakfast buffet was OK, not much variety but of... More

Staying in Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori

Neighborhood Profile
Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
