Location was excellent for access to the Vatican city but also quiet on a night allowing us to get a goodnight sleep, the room had all that we needed with a comfortable bed and usual set up tv/fridge, staff were very friendly and could not do enough to help, all hotel was clean and breakfast very good, WiFi was very... I had a decent stay at Hotel Alimandi. Location is good if you plan to spend a lot of time at the Vatican (1-minute walk to the Vatican Museum and 20-minute walk to St. Peter's Square) The Ottaviano metro station is a 10-minute walk away if you want to venture out. The single complaint I have is the room decor.... More

The location of this hotel was really good - approx. 1 minute from Vatican museums and 5 minutes from St Peter's square. Hotel was beautiful inside - very ornate but not over the top. Room was nice, clean and spacious with nice bathroom, all extras you would like i.e. dressing gown, toiletries etc. Breakfast was in the roof top restaurant... More

For visits of several days in Rome recommend the hotel. Good service, delicious breakfast, chef Francesco very carefully, coffee ok, wi-fi free. Only the bathroom a bit to small. Personally, I'm coming back.

Just took a small group to Rome and for the second time we stayed in the Alimandi Tunisi. It was as last time a great experience and my group fell in love with the family atmosphere and the exceptionally helpful staff. Special thanks to Francesco and his breakfast staff who several times helped us out with an early breakfast. Irena,... More

My mother and I visited during Christmas in 2012 and had a WONDERFUL stay! The location is perfect, the accommodations were very good (small rooms, but okay for European standards), the breakfast each morning was a great way to start the day!!

The hotel is 3 stars, it is clean although the rooms aren't modern. The staff is super friendly! Luca, Irene, Francesco, Luisa to name the ones we met. They will make you feel right at home. Breakfast is included and they serve it in the patio, a nice area in the hotel. They offer free chips and nuts at the... More

This hotel is a 1 minute walk from the entrance to the Vatican Museum (out the door, up some steps, and you are there). If you are walking to find this hotel on your own, please realize that there are no street signs in this area. This makes it extremely difficult to wander to the hotel. Go to the entrance... More
