My wife and I stayed here recently for 2 nights and if you are planning on visiting the Vatican it is only 3 minutes walk to the front. It is close to public transport and there are plenty of restaurants close by. The breakfast were very good as well. The rooms are very dated and the shower would have to... More

If you're looking for a place close to the Vatican (or the Vatican museum steps, where most of the tour groups meet), then this place is ideal. Although, other than the Vatican, this is a very quiet part of town. The staff are very friendly and helpful (both the reception and breakfast staff). The rooms are clean, however they are... More

After a very long flight from Australia, the check in took less than 5 minutes! The hotel was great. Staff were very helpful and spoke good english. The breakfast was delicious, plenty of variety - eggs, bacon, toast, pastries, yoghurt etc. Location is right next to the Vatican. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The room was good... More

After spending a full day on booking.com trying to find a hotel in Rome I found this one, I checked the reviews and decided to book it. Location wise, its very good, its about a 10 minute walk from the Metro stop and it is literally accross the road from the entrance to the Vatican Museum. You can walk to... More

Alert for those who are used to making a reservation for the room (same price for 1 or 2 persons): We made the wrong assumption it would not cost us any extra, but to be sure, we informed the tour organizer that my husband is joining the tour and will pay the single supplemental to have the whole room so... The staff was very friendly, room quite comfortable with air conditioner, what makes a difference in the summer. The location was good, right beside the Vatican City with close access to the metro line A and the buses, which can make your way to anywhere you want and most of the historical places. The chef, Francesco, is a lovely person... More

Typical Roman hotel with small rooms and bath. However, great authentic breakfast served upstairs on terrace by a very friendly host named Francesco. Staff and manager were very friendly and helpful. Room rate was very fair. Best of all you are located literally next to the Vatican walls.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was accommodating in ever way. Was in a few steps of the Vatican and a lot of restaurants to choose from. I would total stay there again if I travel back to Rome.

Had a great time staying at the Alimandi Hotel. The staff were very friendly and it's location is right on the Vatican's doorstep. When travelling with a disabled spouse, we needed a hotel with access, which this hotel does. Though it's wheelchair ramp is for a manual wheelchair and not a mobility scooter. Breakfast was very tasty and the staff... More
