Superb location, Friendly and helpful staff, clean and roomy accommodation and excellent included breakfast make this one of the most enjoyable hotels My wife and I have ever stayed in. We were there for 8 days. Mario and Andrea were always ready and willing to make suggestions and help with arrangements we wanted to make. It is a 16th century... More

We LOVED our stay at the Hotel Sant'Anna. We had four in our party and two rooms (two singles and one queen). It's so close to the Vatican, you literally can hear the bells and we could see the top of St. Peter's from our terrace and the little street it's on, Borgo Pio, is pedestrian only during the day... If you want a hotel that's near The Vatican this is 'THE' one. This hotel sits in the shadows of Saint Peter's Square. It's so close you can here the bells of St Peters toll. It's a fabulous hotel and from you check in until you leave the staff, service, accommodation, food, location - just everything about this hotel is... More

Plus points: quiet location; clean; friendly, helpful staff; great breakfast (for Italy); Neutral points: Excellent location for St Peters (2mins), Sistine Chapel (5 mins) but it is a good half hour walk to the Forum, Trevi, Spanish steps etc. Ask for a large room. Would recommend.

We wanted to stay in a hotel that was near the Vatican and WOW did we find it! The location couldn't have been better - the hotel is charming, the staff attentive, the breakfast was simple but plentiful. There are many restaurants along the road where you can enjoy fabulous food and wine. Sit inside or at a table on... More

We recently returned from a family vacation to Rome and booked 3 rooms (Triple, Double & Single) directly with the hotel and rountrip transfers to/from the airport. It is 75 euros to the hotel from the airport but it is well worth the expense. Our rooms were available when we arrived. The Single and Double rooms were clean with very... More

It is difficult to describe this extraordinary hotel. The minute you arrive you know it is very special. Our room was unbelieveable; large, quiet, immaculate. The gentlemen at the front desk made you feel special; answering all questions and helping with any request. The obvious concern for your being comfortable was apparent at all times. Would we stay again? I... More

We were thoroughly enchanted with this lovely hotel close to the Vatican. The staff arranged for a car to meet us at the airport. The rooms were exceptionally clean. I had a lovely view of a little terrace that I think belonged to a family. My travel companion had a street view and each night we shared a bottle of... More

Keep in mind that Rome is a big city and with a big city comes noise. But I found the hotel not that noisey. Yes.. the rooms aren't amazing but who spends anytime in there room when they have so much to see. The breakfast isn't awful but when in Rome breakfast is a latte and maybe a croissant you... More

We were reunited with our luggage 4 days later thanks to Mario...he totally went to bat for us..a true advocat.... More
