Spent three nights here with my husband. Mini break away from the children!! There is nothing negative to say about this hotel. Clean, helpful staff, delicious breakfast with great views across the rooftops, super location, free wifi ... And so the list goes on. Would definitely recommend and would definitely go back.

Stayed for five nights and enjoyed the room, staff and location. The hotel is located on top of the Spanish Stairs so you will need to walk up and down the stairs for much of the local sightseeing; essentially flat to the Borghese Gardens. There are several restaurants just outside the door and an unlimited amount down the stairs. While... More

Tucked away at the top of the Spanish Steps, this small boutique hotel is ideally located for exploring the Eternal City. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was at the top of a short flight of steps and was well appointed, with a view down into a small piazza, with many good restaurants close by. Breakfast was... More

It is a small but charming hotel offering every kind of amenities a guest can need. The room we had was very clean and well-furnished with free sfot drink minibar. The bathroom was clean with big and very soft towels. Internet was free all over the hotel. Breakfast was really rich with an excellent variety. The hotel is in the... More

This was a start of our two week vacation. Great for a family or a romantic get a way. so welcoming, the location you can't ask for better. Clean and a great value. Feels as if you visiting an uncle. Defiantly coming back.

We made reservations on line on the spur of the moment, and are glad we did. Perfect location for walking in Rome. Our suite was small, as expected in this city, but very comfortable, and the hotel staff was courteous and helpful. Good breakfast, too.

Horrible Hotel in a good location that is not worth $275 per night. I am an avid traveler and have been to Europe 6 times, this is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We stayed here for 3 nights which was 3 nights to long. The first night we were there we received a phone call... More

Dear Mrs Crystal T I am sorry for your comment. The carpet is new: it was changed on September 19th 2015. I have got the invoice, that I can send you, with the number of the room 16. The one you had. Bathroom faucets are new. They were change the day before your check in. And I have got the... More

Recently my wife and I visited Rome for our vacation. Like most families we planned and saved for our trip overseas from Florida to Rome with a cruise on the back end. My wife had gotten a referral from a friend to a hotel there in Rome, and like most travelers we were uncertain about what someone else’s perception of... More

I have written many reviews and 95% have been positive but this hotel was awful in virtually every way possible. When we checked in, the owner sitting at the front desk made us wait as he finished a long conversation on the phone. He was not friendly as others have stated in their reviews. The room he gave us for... More

Dear Guest, thank for your comment, but we do not feel our hotel like horrible. The reception has at leats two people for workshift. My brother is a nice guy, as already commented. Hardly to think he has been acting otherwise with you. And nobody in our hotel acts as you mentioned. The rooms are considered by the most very... More

We stayed here many years ago with our 9 year old son and loved it. New owners have updated. The rooms are small but tasteful and comfortable. the terrace is lovely. Pick up a bottle of prosecco and enjoy the view. Ask for and try the recommendations for restaurants. The metro is close. The Spanish Steps are closed...use the metro... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
