The hotel is located in easy reach of the major attractions in Rome. There are lots of eateries, cafes, bars and small food stores near by. The Hotel is small with excellent reception staff and a lift to the upper floors. The hotel was clean as were the rooms which came with tvs. The small breakfast room is in the... More

We stayed at Hotel Smeraldo for two nights prior to our mediterranean cruise. From the moment we checked in the staff was very helpful and accommodating. We were early and they allowed us to check into our room early for no extra fees, they carried our luggage for us (we stayed in the annex portion of the hotel) and then... More

This small but elegant hotel is located between Pompey's Theater and Campo dei Fiori, and under 5 minutes from the Pantheon. Stayed here during a school trip to Rome and was able to access transportation as well as walk to the Tiber River. They have free wifi, a nice breakfast room and the staff is always courteous and ready to... More

Pros: location Cons: really small (claustrophobic) shower box; my room building was separated from the main building; my girlfriend was bitten by fleas. To sum up: it can't hardly be considered a 3 star hotel, but I paid 300 euros for 2 nights. It is worth maximum 80 euros per night. If there were half stars I would have given... More

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and found it a great disappointment. At the moment of the on-line booking, we received a confirmation e-mail within the hour and we were very pleased for it. We also booked an airport pick-up with the hotel. They do not follow-up the status with the car provider and if your flight is... More

The location of this hotel was great, and that's about it. When we arrived to the hotel, no one helped us with our luggage, we had 4 suitcases (as we are travelling for six weeks). Although the room was clean, it was that small that we had to open one suitcase at a time, and there was no air conditioning.... More

Stayed here for 5 nights. The front desk speaks good English. Our first room smelled like cigarette smoke (the hotel is non-smoking), so we changed with only slight resistance from the front desk. You are near the center of the city, with a ten minute walk to the pantheon or a twenty minute walk to the Colosseum. One of the... More

Quality of te matras was badand overall run down condition of the hotel. Very small rooms! The air was in hotel hotel dry and aircondition in room 112 looks dirty. Reception was not helpfull at all and lack of information about anything. Bathroom and toilet was 3 square meters, if you are tall and/or oversized then you have a big... More

I booked this hotel for couple of nights but had to checkout the same day, the reason was terrible quality of bed mattresses and overall run down condition of the hotel. The reception was in a different building and we were asked to go to a different building on the road for our room. We were not sure if we... More

Location for this hotel is perfect, we walked to all the major sights and didn't need to bother with any public transport or taxis to get around. The hotel is clean and the staff, although not overly friendly, were professional and helpful. We had a refurbished room and the bathroom was particularly impressive. Would definitely stay here again if I... More

Staying in Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori

Neighborhood Profile
Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
