This was our third trip to Rome and this was by far the best choice we made. The hotel has a fantastic location - its right behind the Pantheon. there are lots of great restaurants in the area and its seems like a very safe location to stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable and a reasonable size given your in... More

A very comfortable and spacious family room that slept 4 was the initial draw but the great location and friendly staff were a bonus. Steps from the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Capitoline Hill, the Forum and the Colosseum - we enjoyed being able to walk to all the sites and great restaurants nearby. Nice breakfast room with terrific coffee and warm... More

We stayed here with a group visiting archaeological sites in Rome. We'd upgraded to a suite, which was absolutely fantastic. Huge walk-in shower lined with marble, private terrace, enormous bed... The hotel was very nicely furnished. The layout was a bit quirky - I think it's a couple of buildings knocked together. Location-wise it's just behind the Pantheon, really handy... More

We booked quite late and could not get this hotel for the entire week and therefore stayed four nights here and three nights behind Via Nazionale near the Republicca Metro. The difference in the location was dramatic. The hotel Santa Chiara was located just behind the pantheon and among cobbled, winding streets which was very atmospheric, safe and calm with... More

Nice hotel in a great location. Room was clean and large -- and very quiet. Upon arrival Flavia was very friendly as she took the time to walk with us to a kiosk to purchase the Roma Pass. The male staff seemed unfriendly and somewhat irritated if you asked any questions. Breakfast was good. WIFI of poor quality as you... More

Excellent location in the centre of Rome a few hundred yards from the Pantheon. Rooms clean and of a high standard but noisy. WiFi poor and so slow as to be virtually unusable. Not enough places in the dining room for breakfast and staff very slow at clearing tables. The toaster took about five minutes to toast a slice of... More

I was very happy with my choice of this nice little hotel. It is unpretentious, the staff are pleasant, my room nothing fancy but comfortable and QUIET. I would definitely come back as it is near all my favourite places. One small thing. I am old enough to remember that coming to Italy meant a large, chewy, crusty, delicious white... More

Dear Guest, thank you for your review. About the home made jam, we are sorry but due to sanitary rules it is not possible to serve them anymore, for this reason we have a type that has all certifications requested and mono use. Bread, we have about 4 types: small Rosetta (White round bread typical of Rome), wholemeal bread, bread... More

Terrific hotel in ancient Rome. Great buffet breakfast and nice clean rooms and common areas. Very friendly staff and close to Pantheon. In case you can't find your way back, you can always ask for directions to the Pantheon. We really enjoyed our 3 day stay there in August 2014.

We usually stay at the hotel Ponte Sisto whenever we're in Rome but they were booked this visit. We reserved a suite/room at the Albergo Santa Chiara at the recommendation of a great family travel company called Ciao Bambino. We traveled through Italy for two weeks visiting various cities with a last stop in Rome. What a pleasure this hotel... More

Staying in Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori

Neighborhood Profile
Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
