Walking distance to Rome train station, convenient for subway and other transportation too. Several local restaurants and cafe close by, as well as super market. The staff are nice, room is clean. Good price for the location

Booked for 6 nights and stayed only 1. Our room was clean and the shower was brilliant but really if you are over 25 and need a good nights sleep then don't stay here. Didn't sleep as people coming in til 4am shouting, banging on doors etc. The hotel staff apologised and understood our point so we cannot fault them.... More

Hardly a hotel! DONT STAY HERE!!! unless you like drunk screaming teenagers at your window ! And the smell of vomit ! Not even a good location ! So depressed that i had to spend my time in the beautiful rome at what i believed was a decent hotel ... Its OKAY for the price, but the good reviews are... More

Stayed here twice about 10yrs ago. A little more basic and had not so charming grey carpet in the room vs the nice hardwood floors I remember from last visit. Also didn't get the welcoming fruit in the room this time...just some nice touches that were missed. Overall still a good basic room in good location with nice staff.

This motel is cheap, cheerful, clean and handy to the train, bus, and metro. Only downside would be if you wanted a quiet place to stay as the Hotel Romae caters for the youth market but we found it fine. There are excellent restaurants across the road. Our package included breakfast which we had in the pub across the road.

Quite easy to find this hotel from the railway station. Come out the right hand exit from the station ,cross the road and go straight down that road about 3 blocks and turn left on via Palestrina..two blocks along and you are there. On first appearance the first appearance is a bit different. That's when the friendliness of the staff... More

Good hotel in a great location and reasonably priced. Whilst the room was a bit dated (the main entrance door to our room was broken) the premises were clean. The double room was slightly on the small side, but was just about ok for two adults. The staff at reception were very helpful and really made a difference, as did... More

First time in Rome and location was great cause it was a couple of blocks from the metro which was handy. Staff all spoke English and was friendly. Had a great room with balcony with chairs. I'm a tall guy 6"3 so the bed was very short but other then that the value was good for what you get. They... More

While making the booking we were a bit skeptical but we Absolutely loved our experience here. The location was very convenient. We liked the energy of the place….be it the refreshing music when you enter the premises(those at the reception are doing a great job running this place) or the lively cafes alongside. The area seemed very safe and it... More

Just back from a 2 night stay in the hotel, had a great time! The hotel is basic but clean & has everything you need. I was a little worried before arriving about the standard it would be as the booking price was much cheaper than other hotels in the same area but I did not need to worry. The... More
