This was a perfect place for relaxing in between all the sightseeing. The location, right next to Campo di Fiori was fantastic! Many sights, such as Pantheon, Forum, Colosseum, Piazza Navona, Fontana di Trevi,Trastevere, the Vatican etc was within walking distance. The room was cute and had a nice view of the backyard. It was quiet and clean. The roof... More

This hotel has a perfect location if you want to spend a few days in Rome to visit the sights and enjoy great food. The hotel is just off Campo di Fiori with multiple restaurants and a daily market. If you're looking for luxuary or have any physical problems with stairs this is not a place for you. There is... More

Thank you for your review. Fortunately, the hotel is situated in the oldest part of Rome (it is the oldest hotel in the city) and so it is extremely difficult to make it easier. A series of prohibitions makes this task even more complex . We are exploring ways to work around this problem. The simplicity and cleanliness are the... More

We love the Albergo Del Sole! They offer clean rooms, friendly and helpful service and are located in a PRIME location off the Campo de Fiori. The beauty is that they do NOT serve breakfast and you get to go to the Campo to shop for fresh food not only from the daily fruit and vegetable market, but from the... More

My family and I stayed one night at this hotel after an overnight flight. It was a bit of a pain to lug our suitcases up the stairs to the check in desk, but everywhere you go in Rome will be like that. The staff was friendly and spoke good English. Our room was spacious and clean- one queen and... More

My partner and I were in Rome for 4 days and found this hotel was in the perfect location. 15 min walk to the Vatican City, 5-7min walk to the Colosseum & a 5 min walk to Via del Corso (for me to get some retail therapy in). The staff are very helpful and the rooms were large with very... More

This was my first trip to Rome; I traveled with my elderly (but spry and energetic) father who has been to Rome many many times. He chose this hotel and booked a room on the top floor with roof-terrace knowing this was the best. I was amazed and thrilled with the view - everything I dreamed a hotel in Rome... More

I can only agree with other comments the location is ideal . It really is 1 minute to the Campo de Fiori. A lovely square to watch the world go by on an evening enjoying a drink or three. The rooms are small but were kept very clean . As others have said don't worry about breakfast , there is... More

I stayed in this hotel twice. Now, I am from Rome, but I was here in a tour with American college students. The place is in a perfect location, just a few steps away from Campo de Fiori. The rooms are small but clean and cute. Be sure to ask for a room with private bathroom. You can have breakfast... More

I stayed here with my school program, and I absolutely loved it! It has a prime location being just steps away from Campo dei Fiori and within easy walking distance to all of the sites of Rome. It is supposedly the oldest hotel in Rome and was built on the ruins of the Theater of Pompey (where Julius Caesar was... More

I visited in July 2013, and instantly we were amazed at how central the location is! Right next to the Campo Dei Fiori and 5 minutes to the Pantheon! The room itself was everything my friend and I needed it to be - a place to rest our heads after a long day exploring. The bathroom was lovely and clean... More

Staying in Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori

Neighborhood Profile
Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
