The Abruzzi is a nice hotel smack bacng in the PIazza De La Rotonda, which I think is THE best place to stay in Rome. Its so accessibe to all the major sights, A brisk stroll.....Piazza Navona and Campo Fiori 10 mins, Trevi Fountain 10 mins, Spanish Steps 15 mins, Colosseum/Forum 15 mins, Vatican 20 mins, Villa Borghese/Medici Palace/PIazza Del... I will really recommend this hotel, if you want to stay close to many of Rome's attractions. If you pay a little more, you can be sure to have a view overlooking Pantheon. The staff are really helpful and breakfast is served on a restaurant just opposite the hotel. Here you get a fine breakfast buffet with the possibility to... More

On a trip to Italy with your spouse you need a good landing spot to get away from the activity and refresh. Abruzzi was that perfect fit. Unbeatable location, fair price, helpful staff, fantastic renovated junior suite overlooking the Pantheon, and delightful breakfast across the Piazza. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Everything about this place was enjoyable! Cute, clean room with amazing view of the Pantheon, very friendly staff and awesome location. (We were able to walk to all of our planned destinations.) It was our first time to Rome and I would definitely stay there again if I return! Highly recommended.

I shared this room with two of my friends when we visited Rome for one night before an organized week long tour of Tuscany. We reserved one of the larger rooms with three beds and it was perfect for our needs. It was comfortable, the hotel desk staff were friendly and helpful, and we couldn't have been happier with our... This hotel was all I could have asked for. Recently renovated, the room had a new and comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. I loved the sound in the Piazza at night, so I left the windows open, but if noise is an issue, the windows are new and noise lessening. The people at the front desk were helpful and... More

Location was absolutely perfect for exploring Rome and the view of the Pantheon out of my window was to die for. Small room but perfectly formed, very clean, modern with mini fridge, free wifi, air con etc. Beautiful bathroom with great big shower and a selection of bathroom goodies - no need to pack shampoo. If you're a light sleeper... More

We sayed 6+2 days in Abruzzi and this was our first visit to Rome. We couldn't have been happier. Perfect location, great room, amazing view and friendly staff. Most things have already been said about the hotel and I just want to add that our room had one of the biggest hotel wardrobes ever-very well lit from inside, with so... More

We chose this hotel based on other reviews and its location. We used the car service to and from the airport which as very convenient and only slightly more expensive than a taxi. The room was cozy and nicely decorated. Best of all was the view which was directly out to the Pantheon. Request a room with a Pantheon view... More

This was our third trip to Rome and this was by far our best hotel. The hotel is right in the Piazza opposite the Pantheon and we had a view of this amazing building from our hotel room. The hotel is spotlessly clean with lovely modern bathrooms, comfortable beds and great pillows. Breakfast is quirky as you pop across the... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
