We just left our hotel In Rome. We loved it! The view was to die for and the location was amazing! Walk to everything. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was the best! Across the street in the beautiful piazza. Everything was clean and decorated so well. We got a suite which was totally worth it. Loved everything... More

The location was excellent and the hotel offered a wonderful american buffet breakfast which you could enjoy on the piazza right in front of the pantheon! The room was beautifully decorated but not that of American standard in space. Disappointment in room size would be my only criticism. Wonderful staff at front desk.

We spent 4 nights in Rome before heading up to Tuscany and booked 2 junior suites at the Hotel Abruzzi having seen the Trip Advisor reviews and done lots of research. What a find! I think some of the hotel has been modernised and some may still be awaiting work. We stayed in rooms 205 and 302. Room 205 has... More

LOL to all the people getting their knickers in a twist about the annexe. OK, it wasn't 5 star luxury, but aircon, fresh linen, comfy bed and a breakfast in the square overlooking the Pantheon for that money? Great. I'd agree the bathroom could do with a wipe on the ceiling for a bit of standard bathroom mould, and the... More

We enjoyed a delightful 5 night stay at this small hotel in the heart of Rome's centro storico. We opened the windows to the charming sights and sounds of the Piazza della Rotonda and Pantheon, and closed the windows to peace and quiet. The Abruzzi is not a full service 5 star hotel, and one must walk up a flight... More

The Hotel is located in the most amazing vibrant location with a view of the Pantheon and fountain. The room was extremely comfortable with fresh linen and great shower enclosure. The best of it was to hang out the window and see Rome's famous Pantheon below ! We had a two hour plane delay and the staff were lovely to... More

We have recently returned from our 13th visit to Rome which spans 50 years but our first time in this location and what a wonderful time we had. The Hotel Abruzzi was great and our room being the only one on the fifth floor gave us privacy and quietness and it was well decorated and kept beautifully clean. Breakfast arranged... More

We had one lovely evening to spend in Rome and chose this small hotel to experience the historic area of downtown Rome again. The hotel is partially renovated and we had a newer room - hopefully a faster elevator is on the list for redo. It was very slow but still charming. And what a view from our room: one... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in summer, we were surprised at how modern the rooms were. Great location walking distance to most sites. Great views of the Pantheon and lively square beneath. All rooms have double glazing and music from the square stops around 11pm every night. We loved this little hotel and would stay here again.

Ours was a party of three...two adults and our 18-year old daughter. We have been reading the TA reviews and researching where to stay for our four nights in Rome. Without hesitation, I will say Hotel Abruzzi was excellent. We booked the junior suite and had the only room on the 5th floor with a gorgeous view of the Pantheon... More
