This is a lovely and economic place to stay if you are a traveler. It locates in the center of the center of the Rome. Most of the attractions can be reached in 5mins to 10mins by feet. The Pantheon area is very busy and therefore makes a lot of noise, however, you won't hear any noise when you close... More

Hotel is in a great location and close to all sites and restaurants. We had a junior suite which was dry clean and modern. We were facing the pantheon which was wonderful but it can be noisy. We enjoyed the music and watching everyone having a good time in the piazza. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. This hotel... More

Fabulous hotel next door to Pantheon and a great coffee spot in the heart of Rome. Within walking distance of all spots downtown. 5min walk to Piazza Navona. Great restraunts close by near Campo di Fiora and Jewish Ghetto. This is a great spot, with modern touches, excellent air-conditioning (which is a huge bonus in July and August in Rome)... More

Location of this hotel is perfect. Right outside the pantheon and within walking distance from all the essential sites. We booked the hotel from Hotels.com as we got a discount price. We checked the website and the rooms looked lovely, and had a wonderful view. When we arrived we got told we were in the 'annex' Which we had no... More

This amazing boutique is in the Piazza Rotonda, literally across from the Pantheon. Although the rooms are small, the water level in the shower if fantastic. The double is adequate to sleep 2 North American sized individuals comfortably. The rooms are cleaned. Wifi is included and has great connectivity and fairly fast. Breakfast is included and the restaurant is 10... More

We loved the location of this hotel. It was within walking distance of all the attractions we came to see in Rome. Piazza Navona was about 5 min away, the Colosseum about 15 min and Castel St Angelo about 15 min in the other direction. Not to mention the Pantheon at our doorstep! There are many restaurants, cafes, several gelateria,... More

Literally across the street from the Pantheon! The service was impeccable and helpful, the rooms newly renovated and gorgeous (yes, European in size - but what are you in your room for? - you're in Rome!). Really importantly - the A/C was superb. DO NOT BOOK A PLACE IN ROME IN JULY/AUGUST WITHOUT BEING SURE OF THE QUALITY OF THE... More

We chose a junior suit with Parthenon view to accommodate myself, husband and 14-year-old son. This comprised main bedroom, open doorway to twin room then small shower room. All clean and modern (our son loved the electrically operated blinds!) the space is compact but we came to see Rome not stay in the room. The staff are extremely helpful and... More

The hotel is very nice, it is right across the plaza from the Pantheon. You could look out the window and the see Pantheon. The hotel room had a lot of space, it had a sitting area in the room. The air conditioner worked well, it was very clean looked recently renovated. The bathrooms were a good size and were... More

the hotel is lovely, small and quiet. the location is the best thing, the the rooms are quiet and don't suffer from the noisy crowd outside. breakfest is in one of the cafes in the piazza, which is nice.

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
