Valerio, Paolo and Lethia the staff at the Aphrodite hotel are very pleasant and helpful and makes you very welcome, the hotel is very comfortable and nicely decorated. It is situated opposite the Metro station and it takes only fifteen minutes to get to the Vatican City and five minutes to get to the colliseum. We hope to return to... more

If you are wanting some place close to the train station to get out of town quickly OR if you want to be somewhere you can catch a quick taxi, this hotel is GREAT! Beds are comfortable. It was very clean. They are understaffed, but were very professional. There is a very good restuarant a few steps from the hotel. There... more

Let me start with saying that this hotel is located by the Termini Station, not centralised in Rome, and is in a shady neighborhood. Very dirty, drunk/homeless people sleeping on the street and causing problems. Upon our arrival our room was not ready so we had to wait over 2 hours in a cold and damp reception area. There was... more

The location was perfect, only steps from Termini Station where you can catch one of the many open tour buses of Rome. The neighborhood had a few homeless, but didnt bother us at all. We felt safe coming back at night. The room was a room with a bed and the bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. For the price, it... more

I stayed with my wife in this hotel between July 24th and 28th. We choose hotel for it good location and by normal price in this district. At first, after returning to hotel (at 2 PM) we must wait in lobby for one and half hour, because our room wasn't ready. Half of travellers who arrived at the same time... more

After reading the reviews we were a little nervous, but the location and price were right and everyone said it was clean, so we took a chance. It was very clean and the room was VERY small. It made the smallest room in a cruise ship seem large! But, we needed to use the train station and we were trying... more

I stayed at Hotel Aphrodite on the returning leg of my weeklong trip to Italy recently in June. This hotel is situated virtually next to the Stazione Termini- so, it's great if you are leaving the city and don't want to have to lug your luggage around quite a bit at the end of a stay, being tired and all.... more

The location for the hotel is great. It's about 2 short blocks away from Termini Station, so you're close to Metro Lines A & B. My room was small, but since I was traveling on my own, that was no problem. There was no air-conditioning in my room. My only complaint about the hotel was that the customer service was... more
