DONT stay here. Three couples booked rooms for end of October and all three of us received confirmations back on email. on arrival, NO ROOMS. I am unable to give a full review of Sunshine House but I would like to warn others about it. I booked this accomodation over the internet & when we arrived outside the building the taxi driver was reluctant to let us out of his cab, informing us that the area was not safe for my family to stay in.... more
It was the worst night of my life! It is in a horrible location with gangs of youths hanging around the entrance making lewd comments to passers by. It is run by a doddering old man who does not know what is going on. The room was ok but we had bunk beds not a double bed as requested. The... more
I found it not quite as bad as the other reviewer reported. The room I had was comfortable enough, with A/C, a TV, and a sink. (Note: the only bathroom is shared among 7 people!) Not spotless, but I wouldn't call it dirty. It is in the absolute worst part of town, but it is extremely close to the train... more
Sunshine House is disgusting. The rooms smell, the bathrooms are dirty and the Beds are old and uncomfortable. For 85 Euro a night I felt like telling them to stick it where the sun don't shine. more
