we stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, we were told that we could use the internet free of charge any time. The daytime desk clerk wanted to arrange a shuttle service to FCO airport for us, we declined and at check out he wanted 5 euros for the use of internet. more

This hotel is located on a small street and is directly across from MACRO, which is the contemporary art museum in Rome. The rooms are clean. The staff, (particularly Mustafa) is very, very friendly and eager to help. Breakfast is good (Italian croissants, cappucinos, jams, butter, nutela and melba toast) and you can take a tray up to your room... more

My lady and I stayed here for the 1st half of our Italy vacation while we were in Rome. Well located in the Porta Pia area just off Via Nomentana, two bus stops away from Termini and 5 mins from Villa Borghese (and the Gallery). Our room was facing the street however Via Reggio Emilia is not often travelled (except... more

The Hotel Kent was an ideal place to stay while in Rome. We (my boyfriend and I) travelled to Rome for 7 days, and found the Hotel to be a perfect place to situate ourselves. Located in the Borghese Gardens area, it was close to the Porta Pia bus stop and had very easy access to the sights. The restaurants... more

I agree with all the previous reviews, Hotel Kent is a great place to stay when in Rome. It's good value for money as accommadation in Rome is very expensive and clean with helpful staff. The area around the hotel takes on a lovely atmosphere in the bars and restaurants at night time too. Basically you get to eat where... more

I stayed at the Kent with my husband and 13 year old daughter from 6th to 13th July. Although not in town centre we were within walking distance and just round the corner was Porta Pia where we could catch a bus to anywhere in town. The hotel is small but extremely nice and very clean and modern with a/c.... more

We stayed in Hotel Kent because every other hotel near the centre of Rome was already booked or very expensive. So it was a compulsory choice. Even though, it is a small hotel, it was recently renovated and the rooms are airy, with clean bathrooms. The area where the breakfast is served is small, but the breakfast itself is plentiful... more

After booking at the Augustus we were transferred to the Kent, which turned out to be a blessing. Rooms a bit small and Air con struggled to keep up but good value for money and staff excellent. Area looks a bit dodgy but on walking around found some nice restaurants only 200m away. try the Marrema. Very close to Porta... more
