Usually when you visit a strange city, accommodation will also affect your impression of this part of the city. When we first came to Rome, stay in this lovely apartment, we felt that we were super lucky! The rooms have bright lighting, clean rooms as well as toilets, you may take mineral water from refrigerator if you need, it's not... More

Stayed here in July 2015! 3 days 2 nights! I was an exchange student in Bologna looking to unwind for a weekend in Rome. It was very comfortable and the quality of rest I had was remarkable. Its so good to call it a day here after a very tiring stray in the world's greatest open-air museum, Rome. I was... More

Myself and two girlfriends stayed here for 4 nights in a triple room. The hotel was easy to find and is in a perfect location with Termini station being less than a ten minute walk. Some lovely restaurants nearby and the best ice cream shop, 'La Romana Roma'. The rooms were extremely clean and the staff were super friendly. We... More

After a quick browse through TA I booked this hotel last minute. Location: It is a 10 minute walk from the Termini Station, which is a central hub for public transport. The walk is flat however the hotel is really off the beaten path, I was with my partner but If i was a solo traveller of with my girlfriends... More

My friend and I spent 5 days at the Bon Ton Suite in August. The location is perfect, right in the city centre and close to all of the attractions. It's also very close to bus stations and the metro if you choose to use them. The owner and staff are all very friendly, welcoming and helpful and the rooms... More

Great location, great room for an excellent price. Close to the train station and metro, the host was accommodating and friendly. The best accommodation in Italy thus far. Will definitely stay again if returning to Rome.

They are so friendly. It is not hard to find. Perfect location. I love the rooms. The wifi sometimes disconnect but it doesnt matter when you have such friendly hotel personnel. The bed is awesome. I had a double bed so it felt like a king size to me. I would love to stay here again on my next visit.... More

The small boutique hotel is outstanding for the budget minded tourist who seeks excellence in cleanliness, staff, morning breakfast and location for transportation. The rooms are on the sixth floor and are accessible by a small elevator. Several restaurants are within walking distance. Do not miss the "pastry shop" located two blocks away on the same street, just ask for... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
