I stayed here recently for a friends trip to Rome. I stayed here in 2012 with my husband and was not overly impressed but decided to come back because it was easy enough to get into the centre and I was familiar with it. I have, however, noticed good changes with the new management from the first time I stayed.... More

The hotel as you will have gathered is quite far out from the city, but has a bus stop right out side which takes about 15 mins to nearest metro. It is not that bad to travel to but one night coming from rome city the metro was shutting early and we missed the last metro back so we had... More

The hotel is located in quiet surrondings. There is a bus stop just next to the hotel which takes you directly to the city centre. You need to get off at Cipro. Then you will reach Vatican within 10 minute walk. The only inconvenience is that buses go irregularly but it isn't the hotel's fault. From Cipro if you can... More

for all east european visitors you will know when i say"FDGB heim" it is grossly outdated miles from the centrum which makes it impossible to enjoy Romrés nightlife as the last bus is at 11.30. staff were friendly enough but the comfort and standart was less then expected. the beds were glorified camping beds, breakfast was alright. The Internet point... More

Stayed here on a university trip in April 2011, it was ok to just sleep in but has a huge fence surrounding it and seems like a prison. To get to central Rome was a nightmare wouldn't even call it close! the metro is a 20 minute taxi ride away and it costs a fortune just to get there, the... More

Like a jail! It was one of the worst hotels I have ever seen... I had to sty there as I was on business trip and there were no other options around this area but instead of staying there I would prefer to stay far far away... People at the reception were rude, the room was dirty and I couldn't... More

Pls, avoid this hotel if you can! It is really far from city centre and without any kind of public transportation useful to reach it. And there was a tough road to reach it. The hotel is quite old-fashioned (but it can depend of personal preferences) but I think that we all agree that broken air conditioning system, dry and... More

This is not even a 1 star hotel. We were in a group of more than 60. It was overpriced and the rooms were disgusting. They hadn't been cleaned properly in years. We had AC vents choked with dust, stained walls and carperts, ancient fitting, bathroom with plummding that was a joke (one room when you flushed the toilet the... More

My roomie and myself got extremely lucky with this hotel. Everything was fine in our room, it was clean and beds were fine. BUT.... friends in another room had problems with their shower -- it wouldn't turn off! Another friend got MANY bites either from bed bugs or mosquitos that came into the room at night. Location was so-so. In... More

Mold growing on the ceilings of the rooms. We were a group of 43.....so we saw a lot of rooms. Toilets were loose, bathtubs leaked with exposed wires. Ground -1 level had a open room that had liquor botttles, pop bottles and other debris along with all the exposed wiring. Stain carpet was in several of the rooms and the... More
