We wanted a centrally located hotel, so we could walk around in rome without using other transport facilities. Also, with a 9months old child, in our opinion, it's good to be quickly back in the hotel, if needed. But thanks to Roberto, our experience became much much much more than just "a good centrally located hotel". He was very sweet... More

We have stayed in Rome 5 times now and this is the first time we brought our 5 year old. The hotel - easy to find - could NOT be in a more perfect location. Yes it isn't a modern pent house but you are in ROME not Ikea. The breakfast was great, the room had everything you needed, toiletries... More

The little hotel has a great location friendly staff free Wifi and a nice breakfast of fresh pastries. Also the price was right until I woke up with 2 bites then 4 bites I believe I am up to 7 bites now. I was told it was Mosquitos but having grown up in Ontario I knew is was awfully hard... More

Dear Madam, you stayed in our hotel for three nights and only the morning of your check-out when paying the bill you complained about bug bites and first you told us that you saw a bug in your bed and when we asked you to go up and see your room you answered us that the bugs where not visible... The Hotel location is absolutely perfect! Right in between the Spanish Steps/Piazza di Spagna and Trevi Fountain and numerous restaurants and shopping. 20 min walk to the Vatican and Castel Sant'Angelo. First trip to Rome and was extremely pleased with location as everything is walkable 20-30 mins to all the major sights. 10 euro taxi ride from Roma Termini train... More

I came to Rome for the second time with my family. The rooms are very small but this is nothing to be worried about as you'll be spending all day in the city. The hotel is extremely close to many main attractions and shopping districts. The staff were so nice it felt like we'd known eachother for years - very... More

We decided to go to Rome at short notice so couldn't think too long about where to book. When I go back to Rome I will be booking here again. We were a family of 5 and booked two rooms. The rooms are small but that is quite normal for Rome and especially in the price range They were clean... More

We have been to Rome several times. This hotel was the best situated to see the sights and not out of the way if you had to come back during the day. I booked this hotel 2 days before we arrived and it was a great choice. The rooms are clean and typical European size but we were a family... More

The location, first of all, is incredible - easy walks to numerous sites - too many for me to even write. The Pantheon is very close - tons of good places to eat if you're in a hurry. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful... You also are a 4-minute walk to the nearest grocery store, really... More

Ah! A Roman hotel that behaved like one. Small but comfortable with a great staff. Roberto never seemed to sleep as.he was always there to help you. Plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good. We will be back.

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
