The Hotel location is absolutely perfect! Right in between the Spanish Steps/Piazza di Spagna and Trevi Fountain and numerous restaurants and shopping. 20 min walk to the Vatican and Castel Sant'Angelo. First trip to Rome and was extremely pleased with location as everything is walkable 20-30 mins to all the major sights. 10 euro taxi ride from Roma Termini train... More

I came to Rome for the second time with my family. The rooms are very small but this is nothing to be worried about as you'll be spending all day in the city. The hotel is extremely close to many main attractions and shopping districts. The staff were so nice it felt like we'd known eachother for years - very... More

We decided to go to Rome at short notice so couldn't think too long about where to book. When I go back to Rome I will be booking here again. We were a family of 5 and booked two rooms. The rooms are small but that is quite normal for Rome and especially in the price range They were clean... More

We have been to Rome several times. This hotel was the best situated to see the sights and not out of the way if you had to come back during the day. I booked this hotel 2 days before we arrived and it was a great choice. The rooms are clean and typical European size but we were a family... More

The location, first of all, is incredible - easy walks to numerous sites - too many for me to even write. The Pantheon is very close - tons of good places to eat if you're in a hurry. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful... You also are a 4-minute walk to the nearest grocery store, really... More

Ah! A Roman hotel that behaved like one. Small but comfortable with a great staff. Roberto never seemed to sleep as.he was always there to help you. Plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good. We will be back.

Stayed for a short break from 8th to 11th June and found hotel to be well situated for most of the local sights. Not far from Spanish steps,Trevi, Navonna, etc. The bedroom was a reasonable size and overlooked the fairly quiet Via del Gambero. Decoration was fine and the bed comfortable.Even had a small fridge in a corner of the... More

My friend and I stayed on the third floor of this hotel for four nights this week, and there was really nothing to complain about. I am terrified of lifts so refused to get in the small one that was available and so we certainly got a lot of great exercise on the trip. If you are afraid of small... More

This hotel must be in one of the best locations in Rome. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our bedroom was very small, had to move the bed over to open the drawer in the bottom of the wardrobe, but the bed was comfortable and the room was lovely and warm on cold March nights. The furniture all needs... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
